i just googled "best cheap liquor" and some esquire article came up and that was mentioned, something like $12 per 750ml. which is cheap, and they gave it a good review overall, old overholt seems to have good reviews as well...

I'm going to be putting it in Coke anyways (i can do shots, but its just easier to sip on coke n whiskey while taking shots)

If you're on a budget, Georgia Moon will do, provided you make some kind of punch out of it. I couldn't drink that shit straight out of the bottle, no matter how cold I got it.

This, in the price range you're looking for. If you're willing to go a little higher, Forty Creek is really nice, and my favorite whiskey until you get to single malt scotches.
