Ya, it wasn't as groundbreaking as one, but the sanctuary fortress is IMO one of the best designed environments in a game ever.

Seems like the gamecube popularity has been revamped ever since the Wii came out allowing everyone to play those games. All of the Zelda and Mario games seem to retain a nice resale value.

i don't get why this game is so hyped. its next to impossible to play because its so goddamn hard. can't believe i wasted $40 on it, used even.

Because it's one of the best shumps ever made. Yes, it's insanely hard, but it's still very additive. Will need to purchase Gradius from the VC later today.
