In the rooms would be supplies. Returns are the ones that suck air, so just in any one.

Ahh, each of my rooms has both a return and a supply, I might just try it in one and see how it is enough. I'll try putting it in the largest one (living room) and see if that is enough to push the scent through the whole house.

I wonder if I can put it next to the air filter, since all of the air passes through that.

The Febreez plug-ins are decent. They have a lot of shitty scents, so I'd try to go simple. LINK

I've never heard of anyone having a problem with them personally, but I guess it could happen. *shrug*

True, I guess statistically anything electrical will start a fire somewhere. My wife is the type of person that unplugs everything before we leave the house, so I'm sure these thing would just drive her nuts haha.

Might be easier and faster to just flip some breaker switches. I used to flip all the ones minus the fridge and bedroom (alarm clock)

Well, I use Scented Candles and Reed Diffuser from Cycle in the living room. I like its smell as they are mild and if you have kids around; you need to rule out the option of incense perhaps as it isn't that safe.

Candles, scented ones. Buy the big ones in glass jars and they will last a long time.

Just don't buy food flavored ones. My wife got a vanilla one and when I got home I thought there were fresh baked goods. All I got was disappointment though.
