why dont u just call bank and tell them to send ur credit bill to ur address.

or.

purchase stuff online using your debit card and have ur bank statement sent to ur address, that's what i'm doing.

If you travel, I definitely recommend the United College Plus credit card. There's no annual fee, and you get miles for using the card. And, I believe after you graduate, you get something like 10,000 miles if you're a College Plus member. After you finish college, I think your account turns into a regular mileage plus account.

Like the whole airline rewards miles.......... They say you get like 15 miles per $40 purchase or something. But when you cash them in, you need like 10000000000 miles to actually go 1000 miles. Their actual miles are not what they say.

I'm planning on getting a visa from my bank sometime soon. That seems like the best idea to me. Being declined be amex isn't all that bad. If you want to actually be able to use a card then amex is not the way to go(they screw merchants so no one takes it)

I too have a capitalone student card. I have had to contest a charge twice now from yahoo auctions and they were more than happy to help me. Customer service was great and it was about closing time for them and the lady ran and got the lady she needed just as she was leaving. I have paid it in full and my check was slow getting there one time and they dropped the finance charge with a simple phone call.

not true, plenty of people take it. i use my blue for students all the time.

dunno why you got declined... did you apply for the student or the regular card?

I was denied for the regular AMEX Blue.. but they accepted for the student version.. It's good to have if you have a Costco membership, even if I've only paid with cash there..

Discover Card. No annual fees and a low rate. The cashback bonus thing is very minor... don't buy a credit card for the perks, unless you're going to be using it a LOT and the perks are something like airline miles where you're already a frequent flyer.
