Looking to video conference more with the family and thought I'd ask what service/software people like.
Conferencing will be between two PC computers and, as noted, will be for "home" use, not business. Being able to conference in other computers simultaneously is nice to have, but not a requirement. Obviously, this is not a party line and so I'd like privacy between whatever computers that are conferencing.
For hardware, both sides have Logitech HD cameras.
Quality audio is another nice to have, but I am more concerned with video quality and having a minimum a video drop-outs and freeze-ups. I can just use a telephone for audio.
I know Skype is popular, but are there other alternatives out there given what I want? What do you folks use?
Thanks!
P.S. Mods, my apologies if this is not the right forum. There didn't seem to be one with just the right fit. Move if you deem necessary.
Old thread revived by spammer. I doubt that the OP is still looking.
