ok.......i have a 4 3/4" x 5 3/8" x 4 3/8" Cooling Cube (Copper Tube) with an 150 gph 1048 eheim, maze 2.
this system is not cooling my athlon xp 1600 oced at 1880+ too well. its at 52 to 60 C with case temps of 32 to 38 C.

i have a small cpu fan (was cooling my duron) on the radiator, not putting too much air out of it.
there are many weak components in my system. the pump is slow, maze .......couold probably do better there too.

but i have a feeling that its mainly my radiator's fault. the water gets hot and stays hot, radiator warm. i just dont think this radiator is good enough.
what do you guys say.......would a little toyota radiator do better, or some expensive radiator from dangerden.com.......or maybe i dont have enough air circulating on it (my little cpu fan on it doesnt do the job maybe).

even thought the temps are ok....machine runs fine, its still a bit high considering thi is water cooling.
i am thinking to add a 120 W peltier. this would definitely make it cold for the processor. i wonder though if my radiator can put out all the extra heat coming from the extra 120 W from the peltier....if it performs like aircooling right now, with the cpu by itself.

can you guys give some opinions here about radiators and importance thereof, pumping power, etc? i know there are many of you that really know this stuff and can discuss it profesionally. it would be very helpfull

thank you

My Rig:

Athlon XP 1600 @ 1880+ LOCKED 160x10(i think thats the official multiplier)
GeForce4 MX 440
IWILL XP333
512 PC 2700 Samsung Cas 2
Water Cooling
CPU: ~50 - ~60
Case(case is uncovered in my room, with no fans on it): ~32 - ~39

all this in the hot climate of Florida, with no AC in this room, just a ceiling fan.

Try gitting a big ole 120mm or at least a 92 to pump some air through that radiator; it'd be the cheapeast, and most likely the best, way to get those temps down.

the radiator is out of my case, next to it, in a cabinet. every time i use the computer (all day long) i have to open the door to the cabinet, so there is some air flow in there.
i had to make the wiring to the fan longer, so it reaches the radiator. i was thinking, since its out of the case....maybe i can go to walmart or something, and get a small fan, like a small desk fan, or something like that..it must put out more air than a 120 mm. and position that thing towards the radiator. do you thikn that will be as effiecient as a 120 mm fan?

Your cabinet needs to have openings on the front and back and probably an intake and exhaust fan, maybe a couple 90/120 mm fans, a little cpu fan isnt going to cut it.

You probably need better airflow through your case. Also, get a decent fan for the radiator. There is a lot of backpressure on air blowing through the cube radiators. Get at least a 120 mm Panaflo L1A - it will be quiet and push a decent amount of air. Finally, make sure you don't have air in your water cooling system. If you use a reservoir, this shouldn't be a problem, but if you are using an inline system, any air in your system will cause a noticable increase in your temps.
