Hello,
I'm looking for some advice for a very stable and secure wireless access point.
My house has two buildings, the main house and a smaller building which sits rights next to the main house. My office is in the smaller building.
I'm currently running Netgear N900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (WNDR4500) to power my network of computers in my office, about 5 computers. I have a DELL PoE switch which gets is hooked up to the Netgear with ethernet cable... this powers all the cat5e jacks in the house.
Issue is: wireless internet access signal in the house is weak. Someone recommended that I buy APPLE AIRPORT EXTREME BASE STATION. I see on the net that ASUS RT-N56U gets good reviews. I'm confused if I can hook up another router in the house to serve as the wireless access point. If so, should I get another Netgear N900. Or something else? Is the Apple Extreme reallly the best product for me? I read about Ubiquiti, do people like that?
Thanks for all your advice.
