So has been my problem ever since battlefield 1.3...
after about an hour of playing perfectly with no jumps or jitters, the game starts lagging because my pagefile is being used. i have 2gb of ram and the pagefile shouldn't be touched. it runs perfectly fine until some random heavy graphics moment after an hour or so of gameplay then it starts dumping to the pagefile and i have to stop playing because it gets so laggy.
prior to entering the game task manager will read 300mb used or something less which is basically just my background apps, ect ect... after i close battlefield 2 when something like this happens it says 1.00 or 1.07 gb....
even though the game is closed completely! now i cant run the game again until i restart cuz it will try to use my pagefile and run crappy. after a restart its back to 300mb.
is there anyway or program to delete things from ram??? somehow free it up so i dont have to restart????
