BFG 5900nu VIVO splitter

Is anyone else having problems with their VIVO splitter cable staying pugged into the card? Mine doesn't seem to seat very well and often falls out on its own. I called BFG tech support about it and they're sending me a new cable. Thing is, is that the cable looks free of defect to me.

Hmm, havent tried it. Let us know how the new cable works out. BFG seems to be willing to try to fix.

Seems not too many BFG 5900nu owners are using their VIVO functionality. Just received my replacement VIVO cable this afternoon. Same thing. Doesn't seat properly and falls out easily. Just got off the phone with tech support and it turns out that me and one other guy have been the only ones to report on what appears to be a manufacturing defect with the cables. The black plastic molding needs to be cut back just the tiniest bit for the cable to plug into the card snugly.

Mine seems to fit just fine. No problem with it staying plugged in.

I just tried mine and it falls out pretty easily too. I'm gonna give BFG a call about it just so they can make improvements on their next line of products.

Response to my email:
We looked at cards and cables and the only thing we can come up with is that there are certain tolerances in everything manufactured. If both the card and cable are on the far edge of allowed tolerance there is the potential for the cable to be loose. Please have those folks with loose fitting product call Tech Support and we will replace the card and cable on a case by case basis with a tested pair (card and cable) to insure a tight fit.
