Hinduism can actually explain the Big bang. I wont go into it, but someone has written a book in hindi about it, and its currently being translated to english. Science is Science, it exists whether or not the church believes in it. HOWEVER, you can believe that science is nothing more than rules created by none other than him. Thats why hinduism is not just a regular, do it or go to hell religion. First its completely contestable. You're supposed to refute anything you dont want to believe in. Second its current form is half culture half way of life. Third, its an exploration of inner self.
There is some retarded church that started a fitness center in houston and was like "We dont believe in the spirituality of yoga, we just believe in the excersize benefits so we're gonna call it yogod." Idiots, if you don't believe in self examination, meditation, and focus then your missing half the benefit. Yoga isnt just stretching your ying yang on to your yang ying.
I used to curse god for things that happened to me. Now I understand its just a set of rules. Whether or not he made them or not I dont care anymore. Its just all about the rules. Unfortunately there is no handbook written on paper. Most of it is in your head, there are books though that can help you understand yourself. That's why following A book is even worse, because your completely limiting your view point to one that is dictated to you. Experiance changes our perception of the rules. A smart man should and must question dictations. This dumb website fails to realise that the atomic bomb is the obviety of recognition of the ability for pretty much inert matter to release energy in such violent reaction.
That's why Im pretty much against Islam because it is not a religion for the smart person. It has a fierce dictation of what is wrong and wright and no ifs ands or buts about it. Religion is a learning process. If you can read a scripture and be like "Ok this is what some dead guy said a long time ago about x topic, hmm now what do I think about it, how does it apply to my life...interesting." and walk on, then you have gained much more than dictation can ever hope to teach you. I think about those kids who can do nothing but recite the quran and its heartbreaking. They are illiterate and have absolutely no ability to percieve things for themselves. Questioning is never bad, it doesnt neccesarily mean your against it, it means that you want to learn a little more about it before you go head first into it.
