Does a man (or woman) who gives his life for another person, deserve to be a god? The ultimate sacrifice is giving one's own life. People do it everyday. Cops, firemen, etc. While some get paid, there is a large number of volunteers that risk their life to save others without the desire of praise by the masses. If you consider him a god then this world is full of them.
