Bios flashing with cdrom

can it be done?
I have a big problem. I need to flash bios on my abit kt7a-100 motherboard because of the stability problems in w2k. i have no access to a floppy drive so i can't do it the regular way (don't ask why i don't have floppy, i just dont). So my question is, can i flash bios using cdrom instead of floppy? i can burn the files on the cd-r disk and boot up with it. I just don't know if it will let me flash using cdrom. If anyone has any information on this, please help me.

You need to make a DOS bootable CD with the necessary files on it. Then flashing works normally.

Yeah you can do it just make a bootable CDR and flash as per Utility instructions (awdflash.exe)

I see floppy drives at every computer store. Use your FDD cable that came with your motherboard. Then hook the twisted wires to the floppy drive. Look for the number 1 on PCB.
