BIOS misinterpreting my CPU clock

I have a Gigabyte GA-7DXE mobo with an Athlon 1800+ (clocks @ 1533). For some reason, the BIOS sees it as a 1150 mhz cpu, with ID 0662. CPUZ says it is 1161.5 mhz. How do I get it to be recognized?
On a related note, what is the max FSB speed for this setup?

I had the same problem with a 1600+ (I think) on the same motherboard. I wasn't interested in overclocking on that PC, but when I went into the BIOS and set the FSB to 134 instead of the default of 133 and the clock speed was set properly again.

This problem might be fixed by a BIOS update but since the FSB change fixed it for me I didn't bother trying a BIOS flash.

On your motherboard, there is a jumper or dipswitch right below the right side of your AGP slot where your video card goes. Right now the default setting is for 100MHz FSB, you need it to be set to 133MHz FSB. So basically, just move the dipswitch to the other side, or move the jumper to the other pins (depending on the revision of motherboard you have).
