Biostar is not a favorite of mine. I would recommend Intel/Asus/Abit and maybe EpoX depending on the board.

i read alot of forums every nite,no tv just reading and always thinking of my next upgrade and from what ive read has been pretty good.ther isnt alot out but ive probubly read 15 or so posts on this mobo and id have to say i would buy it if i was interested in the board.it had surprisingly good quality, overclocked well and buyers were surprised it was as good as it is.i have nothing against biostar, they have worked well in the instances i have used them.some people have a real negative opinion of biostar and maybe ritely so but i think some people just repeat what they read about flames on biostar.im trying to remember what was said about this board and i can only remember it did not turn me off on this board.i remember looking at it and thinking it looked interesting, but personally i believe id order it if i was interested.if its a dud id return it within the first 2 weeks.the 2 things i did not like was the agp transition slot and i thought the price was a little high.as i remember the agp slot didnt work with all the cards biostar said it would work with.they need to lower the price to get it out in more hands and see really how good it is.for 92.00 there are more known brand boards, with a reputation of quality that more people will purchase.they need to give you a real reason for going with this board and if your happy with it you would be more inclined to go biostar again next time.i know id think about other boards too before making my decision to buy this one for 92.00.now for 80.00 id have a hard time not at least giving it a try.then if it works well for me they can make a good profit on my next biostat mobo purchase.its like baiting you to help get them back in the game.at 92.00 most people are gonna go with gigabyte, abit ,asus chaintech,epox,asrock....get what i mean....if you really like it go for it,i honestly think its a pretty good board..................

Biostar isn't known for enthusiast boards outside of a couple of mATX units. This board is tough to recommend since you can get Nforce4 boards from Abit, Chaintech and Epox for less. The fake AGP slot may be of minor use if you absolutely can't get a PCIe card right now but really plan to in the near future. The only dual PCIe/AGP motherboard I know of with a decent AGP slot is the ASRock.

It does sound like they put a good bundle with it, though.

The things is that I think I can get the biostar board for around $60, but I've been looking around and the EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra looks pretty good too and a lot of people like it. So would u say it's worth the extra $30 for the EPox?

I have just installed this in a SuperLanBoy along with a 146 Opteron & XP-120 cooler. What a nice combo.
This board is an overclocker's dream. Three nice auto overclocks in the BIOS & on manual overclock, enough settings & voltage boosts to please even frankenoverclocker!
MemTest is even in the BIOS. There is practically no way to screw it up, as out of spec "mishaps", are easily rectified.
Also, it is possible to O/C from the BIOS & save as many as 50 different specific settings for later recall. There is also a new utility to O/C from within XP (& other Windoz).
Five thumbs up!

For $60 compared to the Newegg $92, go for it.
