Is there anyway to combine squads of your guys together? It's really frustrating to have 6 or so half full squads of semi-experienced guys, there has to be a way to combine squads.

Drag an army flag onto another army's flag and BAM you got one big ass batallion. I find a mix of 2:1 melee to range works very well when combined.

do the samurai side quest and then kill one srmurai with a rock and grab as many people from town and throw them next to samurai and they all turn into samurai. then you got a kick ass and unstopable army

Doesn't anyone bother reading the manual for games anymore? The manual tells you how to link and merge platoons.
