Agreed! They're nicknames people - no one has them copyrighted so calm down. While his response was a little impulsive, it was instigated by the "noob" post, which really had no relevance to the thread anyway.

Finally the voice of Wisdom. Please give a guy a break, or at least post a list of Nicks that would potentially offend someone, the attack on JokerToker was unwarranted and harsh. Slugbait, do you read minds? Then why expect someone else to. Chill, man, chill.

Nope. Don't need to read minds in my case. I had some jerk do a knock-off of my nick just two weeks ago. He proceeded to start crapping in another person's thread (of whom I had recent history with). As a result, he started more than one flame war. He really enjoyed it.

He also got banned. But not before quite a bit of damage was done. He also wasn't the first person to do this kind of thing. I'm not saying that Jokertoker is going to do this, I'm saying that considering my very recent horrid experience and his lack of posts, I was a bit suspicious. I see somebody up here with 4 posts to his name, and he takes a knock-off nick on a very popular and highly respected member. Sachmho tells him it's disrespectful. He tells Sachmho to kiss his @ss. I didn't reply about Jokertoker telling Sachmho to kiss his @ss to start a flame war, I just wanted to let him know that replies like that can had adverse results. I simply said it in a colorful way.

Now, if I'm not mistaken, I think everybody, including myself, is being a little too self-righteous about this. I shall now take leave of saying anything negative about Jokertoker, as well as this thread. And my apologies for not minding my own business...I forget who I deal with up here sometimes.

Being a steve miller fan, I believe thats where Jokersmoker got his nick (I could be wrong). If you recall, the lyrics to the song "The Joker" goes like this:

I'm a picker, I'm a grinner

So you see, to me, Jokersmoker and Jokertoker both come from the same source. Like I said, my respects to Jokersmoker on his contributions. If you still don't like me, see my post to Sachmho.
