I suppose I never cared enough about other people's cars or felt any kind of envy to think it was important.
I think Tirerack has a thing on their website where you can see what it would look like virtually with the black wheels.I'm having a hard time selling her on the idea. It is her car, after all
Those wheels are on CL for 575 with usable rubber. Retail is 319 each. <bites knuckle argh!>
having a spare or winter tires that you can swap out is great, i always buy a extra rim to keep a new tire mounted on, never know when you get a flat and im sure not going to revolve my life around tire shops.I never got into spending money on wheels beyond factory alloys.
I suppose I never cared enough about other people's cars or felt any kind of envy to think it was important. I mean, I like having nice vehicles...but newness wears off quickly and $1200 is a lot of booze or plane tickets to somewhere warmer than here.
I read the post about $300+ per wheel. We all value things differently...I totally get the concept of having an extra set to swap out. I just don't live in a cold enough part of the country to have to worry about it.having a spare or winter tires that you can swap out is great, i always buy a extra rim to keep a new tire mounted on, never know when you get a flat and im sure not going to revolve my life around tire shops.
who said anything about 1200$? 1200 would almost buy you two plane tickets unless you travel alone.

She is happy and does most of the driving in it. I was impressed by how well it did on snow with the sport oriented 19" tires. How do you like the Tiguan? How long have you had it? Any problems? Dislikes?
