WoW: (demon hunter into) going through a portal created by illidan to Demon prison world of Mardum to get keystone.

bunch of new different legion demon models finally.

demon hunter mount felsaber.

in the middle of the intro experience, shadowsong locks you up in the tomb prison.

first half of intro playable at con, 2nd half during beta.

sounds like the split is similar to the panda one on/after the turtle.

regular stuff:

Nightmare dragons which are emerald dragons corrupted by the nightmare.

new moonkin models.

new model for water form.

new dragon flight : storm dragons.

they've increased the draw distance by 300%.

new naga models and types of naga.

another expansion, another ancient tauren npc group, looks like regular tauren with moose styled horns.

Move over moonwell and sunwell, we now have the nightwell!

and they have a new tanaan jungle to be shown at a later point.

uh oh..sounds like they've level scaled zones....

yep, that's what they did. the 4 leveling zones of the new area will all scale to your level.

looks like dailies becoming open your map to see which random spawning zone quest are currently available.

will also be getting faction daily quest, but the queue system for them is similar to hearthstone where you get the building up over time and don't need to complete in a single day.

first raid, emerald dream. guess we can finally stop guessing that as a next expansion. nightmare dragon the first boss. cenarius and xavius will also be bosses.

suramar palace second raid, guldan's base. bosses: sweet looking dreadlord, head of the nightborne elfs, and then guldan to end it.

5 leveling dungeons, 5 max dungeons. level dungeons also scale to your level.

"focused more on keeping dungeons relevant the length of the expansion".

sounds like they're doing challenge mode dungeons based on diablo greater rifts.

and they're also giving diablo like elite affixes to the dungeon mobs, a rotating type applied to all the dungeon mobs on a weekly basis.

closed beta 2015.

one of the heroes questions was about warlocks, and if I heard right I believe he said they're working on guldan.

more hearthstone cards:

roaring torch does 3 damage and on use puts a version into your deck that does 6. seems like a common theme of playing a card and putting something into your deck for this expansion.
5-4-6 djinni, whenever you cast a spell on a friendly minion cast same spell on this one.
7-7-7 obsidian, summons 1/1 taunt every turn.
5-4-4, deathrattle give random friendly +3/+3.
5-0-6 summon stone, whenever you cast a spell summon random minion of same cost.
2-2-2, discovery 1 cost card.
4-2-6 del 2 damage to random enemy after playing a minion with battlecry
new pally secret, lol. if your enemy has 3 minions and summons a fourth destroy it.
4-7-4, place ancient curse in your deck that does 7 damage to you when drawn.

and that explorer murloc sounds disturbingly like smeagol at times.

since overwatch closed beta start, 82K matches, 7:34 average match length, pharah most played, symmetra most winning.

sorry kaplan, everyone knew it was going to console when they discovered aim aide for the controller, but he makes up for it with the LA joke and then tosses in a CS one too.

pc, xbox, and ps players all segregated.

mac technologically isn't up to overwatch requirements so they're not working on the port. these 21 characters are only one for launch, between now and then they are working on adding other gameplay elements so the have no comment on the $$ for chars added later. haven't developed the game enough to discuss modability. skins coming but characters won't change gender.

So, $40 for a multiplayer only game. Well it's Blizzard so perhaps it'll still sell well but it might be a tough sell since there are plenty of other shooters that are F2P and ones like Battleborne are coming out as well that share a lot of similar elements. If Battleborne also goes F2P then it might be tough for Blizzard to sell as many as they want, especially if they plan on charging for new characters down the road.

$40? More like $50. Never the less it's cheaper than Battlefront and as far as a multiplayer only game is concerned it has even less content, less substance and longevity than WoW. It will still be a smash hit.

Their deathcoil spell was given to Death Knights, then removed/bastardized for Warlocks. Now that we have Demon Hunters I guess we can expect Warlocks to either lose or have their demon form marginalized to better reinforce the latest hero class. It's also why they removed the cool demo glyph that gave you perma horns and wings. Was awesome on RP servers.

Whats wrong with paying $40 for a game? I prefer to pay $40 and have everything then having it be F2P. F2P has really made games far more expensive, or removed a lot of fun from the game since you do not have access to everything.

$40 bucks is nothing for the amount of entertainment that will be had. I was paying $49.99 for games back 20 years ago when they were much more simple (less dev time). I really dislike how there is a stigma now for PAYING for games or content. "Oh you spent money on the game? P2WIN!!!!"

As I said before, the basic PC only edition is $40, the pc digital collector & console versions are $60.

Some stuff from the heartstone q&a:

they'd like to allow you're gold colds to be used in arena, working on other things first though.

they're working adding more/different quest to the game.

region lock is due to main blizzard infrastructure so game must confirm with that (or spend a lot of resources to get around it).

they receive a lot of UI related comments and many they'd like to do, but UI elements are some of the most time consuming to implement.

they're aware of the power creep and related "issues", and have an announcement in that area coming soon.

they will always be adding to the various themes/minions types etc... with new expansion, and in some ways those additions let them help revise the meta.

looks like in game tournaments aren't coming anytime soon, but they may try something through the tavern brawl system.

Understandable and if you want to pay for it there's nothing wrong with that either. The issue I have is that with this game it's very dependent on being able to switch characters to combat enemy team compositions. If Blizzard releases new characters and charges more for those characters it could indeed become a P2W game if those characters can only be counter-acted by other new characters in the expansion.

Overwatch:

Getting a lot of request for backstory so in addition to the previously announced graphic novel, they'll be doing cinematic quality shorts and will have a source book in the collector edition.

wondering how much changeover they've had in personnel, of the 4 guys up only recall ever seeing 1 before.

Artifact power to level your weapon won't come from any kill, mostly quest boss, dungeon/raid bosses, and some item drops.

Relics can be added to relic slots in the artifact weapon to give specialized bonus (add an additional tier to one of the traits) to give some specialization tuning.

They gave some lie about not being able to show all the class halls because they had so much other stuff to show...which means they aren't done.

druid hall will be dreamgrove, druid area in broken isles.

a shrine in the class hall will be where to transmog your artifact weapon.

looks like when I previously mentioned finding dailies on your map, they actually have a "scouting map" that looks to be just to show those quest.

hunter hall is lodge in Highmountain.

Throw glaive for DH looks neat, penetrates mobs along path.

amazing amount of mobility between double jump, glide and rush skills.

the demon sight slows you down to a crawl, and as I type this they say they've reduced the amount of the slow, and everyone within some unspecified range shows up as solid red outlines regardless of terrain in the way.

don't have a lot to show on the DH tank spec, sounds like it's still heavily in progress.

DK runes changed from four types to one, still can have up to 6.

Lot of the derivative fury warrior spec cooldowns/charges removed/rewordked to be less limiting when in the state.

arcane mage reworked.

survival hunter melee as previously discussed.

discipline priest now atonement priest, healing through damage.

subtlety rogue gets revised shadowdance as a passive, will give a chance to reenter stealth and damage won't break.

demon lock sounds like making it the beastmaster of locks.

guardian druid moved from avoidance based to health/armor buffed

shadowpriest lose mana and shadow orbs, use insanity and can gain void form which seems to be a big buff but you can't maintain that form.

"literally hundreds of new talents coming out, more than any other expansion".

professions, forcing you out into the world by requiring extensive quest lines to get your recipes.

mining & herb nodes sound like they exist independent for every character.

recipes have rank 1-3.

profession ui massively overhauled.

unlearned tab will show what you don't have and whee to get it.

a DE type process on items you have crafted to boost another crafted item, DE creates "obliterum".

looks like they're buffing crafted items in general.

major glyphs removed from the game.

minor glyphs become glyph.

you apply glpyh to the spell in your spell book, no more glpyh UI and no more limit of only 3.

major archaeology quest line that will take months to complete.

cooking gets bacon, crowd erupts.

talking about boosting rare world drops: will be legendaries with equip affects to keep them useful throughout the expansion.

all item drops can scale (up to heroic warfarged)

"duplicate" personal loot can be traded.

wardrobe collection, a soulbound item has the apperance added to you immediatly, account wide. sounds similar to diablo system. only limit is you have to be able to equip the item to unlock it.

outfits also added to transmog. can configure outfits and one click swapping between appearances.

all items in bank, inventory, and void storage at launch will be added to transmog colleciton. they will also be going back through every quest you have ever done and all rewards, whether you selected it or not, will be added to your collection at launch.

default apperance can also be saved to different specs.

can select hide helm/cloak per outfit.

shoulders become hideable.

can transmog weapon enchant apperance.

shirts and tabards added to trangsmog collection system.

haven't watch the actual diablo segment yet, but the showed a video clip between ones I was watching and it is a patch expansion of 3 new levels, 2 are new areas and third is a new wing in leorics manor.

one of the new areas is adjacent to the recently released barbarian area.

and more stash space!

also something about set dungeons.

sounds like they are adding a set piece as loot for each story section completed so at the end you'll have a complete set once you're 70.

WoW Q&A:

First up Red Shirt Guy!
Alleria and Turalyon will be big game changers.
They want to add subraces, just not sure how to do it in the game.
Looking at adding cross guild/cross realm guild communication.
Flying achievement will be in at launch, won't be able to complete it till a later patch.

Target tagging changing in legion, looking to expand number of characters that can have a target tagged. World bosses still unlimited, individual/quest mobs has a set number but enough so several questing in same area can get credit without needing to group.

They are working on a system where you can be in multiple guilds, your raid guild, your pvp guild, your friends guild etc.. not sure of all relations and it's a work in progress no eta.

Dalaran is upgraded for protection by the mages to survive at the broken isles.

Challenge dungeon affixes will be globally standard for the week.

Won't answer question about burning legion and crossing time streams, says the expansion will answer that.

Gave an answer about preorder and getting physical and it sounded kinda crappy and didn't really answer it.

No dual spec limit anymore (or tri spec for druid).

Karazhan will be involved in the expansion.

one of the artifact weapon quest lines will give details about what is below the glade.

you will be able to transmog your artifact weapon.

still no cross faction chat even though living together in class halls **********demon hunters of both factions can speak demonic to each other (what about locks?)

No changes with mythic, yeah.
