hehe theyve been in trouble for a while, with a bunch of animal rights activists thinking they are serious. I believe they were even investigated by the FBI. That site is funny as hell, since I am no cat lover. I want one with a square skull and a pretzel body.

This thing was just a joke done by a student at MIT a long time ago. Tons of people went ballistic about it and even the FBI investigated and found that it was indeed just a joke.

Still, I get emails from concerned people every week trying to get people to send emails to have the site taken down. Sigh......

You would have to be a cat lover to be concerned about something like this if it was really taking place? How about basic humanity or does that not count for anything?

See, it's a joke. If I liked cats I might find it to be an offensive joke. Since I don't I find humor in it. And no, basic humanity doesn't really count in America, it has to be financial to count for anything here.

This is no joke. I remember when I was a kid, stationaries featuring the bonsai cats was quite popular in Hong Kong. The cats were all dressed up like Japanese school children and all that. After I found out they were mummies, I was so damn pissed and swore I'd never bought anything from them. And eventually, I totally forgot about the existence of such a thing.
