maybe if you were less cynical you could realize that you could use it on a more expensive book that doesn't have such a high profit margin (the complete far side collection, perhaps). I got far side for about $70 with a similar coupon awhile back. Care to bitch now?

They have partnered with Amazon and their prices on-line don't seem so bad. Are the prices at the stores higher? Do they match their own on-line prices?

Barnes and Nobles discounts their books at the store no?? Borders does not discount anything. You have to pay the price that's on the book so 20% off won't save you any more money than if you bought your books from any other place. You're better off ordering from Amazon and save on tax as well.

I believe that Borders does discount some of their DVDs 25% off of list price. The World Film series on MGM and the Zatoichi series on HV Entertainment have a $20 list price; Borders has them marked at $15. So a 20% off coupon makes these DVDs only $12, or 40% off of list price.

I also use Borders cash back from Discover Card, which represents another 25% discount for me.

i am vastly dissatisfied with my experiences re online purchasing.
B&M, i buy it and take it home WITH ME THAT NIGHT, rather than try and track it through shipping and email. no thanks!

depends on where in the store the dvd is located. coupon worked fine for some cantonese language CDs

great! i don't... right now i am finding out that chinese mall.com didn't include all of my purchase, even though i specifically emailed and asked if they were available before ordering. glad they don't have my credit card number also
but 20% off of berlitz chinese is a much better deal, and it has paid for itself ($5.59 + tax) this weekend ALONE.
