(Its actually really funny, and sad, how a thread like this can go on and on without being interrupted by an AT forum "policeman". Oh well, I guess they've given up on Video.)

Seriously though, I too am really, really tired of the 7 series GPU (even if it does manage to get smaller and smaller). Although, lately I've been getting tired of DX9 too.

Mybe they actually find this funny and keep it.
And i think u made the most meaning full complete post in this thread ... shame on u

My e-penis from my 7800gt has been diminishing quite a lot since new cards came out.
ANd i think my x2 one has fallen off once i heard about conroe

Hey I have that 7800gt shrinking problem too.
I just use this device called a variable resistor and now the e-penis has grown a substaintial amount.

I hear the swedish made ones are the best:laugh:

Indeed, it's hardly moderated at all. Out of the last 1200 topics in Video only one was locked, and that one only because it was in the wrong forum.

I'm telling you get those swedish made variable resistors they help a ton! I had to buy a new case because my e-penis was sticking out of the top of my older one. Now all the ladies just stair in awe.

Be carefull though I fried my last card with that vr and I never saw an e-penis shrink so fast!

First he has a monitor with a "mulit" color. (Must have been made in the 80's) and now he's got women who can "stair"? What does that mean?!

Plus, it didn't shrink redcox, it turned black, in the not so good way

I love my x850xt, but I'm pretty bummed out w/ their control panel options. In my experience with my old 6600 agp...their VGA control panel gives you an option to activate AA/AF in a whole settings to each titled game...

Are you lost Powermoloch? I would think it would be easy to get lost with a sack over your head. This is a flameing thread so prepare to get flamed when walking in the door. I will give you one freebe though.

Here we go, Ok, AMD we are on the eve of conroe kicking your ass and all you do is make a refresh with added DDR2 support pull your head out of your ass and get some L3 cache so you can compete with conroe.

It's going to take AMD more than just L3 cache me thinks to compete with conroe. I am going to play my cards right though and see what amd brings to the table.

Yeah, I bet you're going to play your cards right after setting one of them on fire!!!!:laugh::laugh: And be sure that your table isn't wood, otherwise you might have bigger issues!

Agreed. That would actually be a good idea. Anytime anyone starts arguing about personal attacks and what not, we can tell them to direct their "debate" to this thread while the original one continues its technicalities.

I vote sticky too

josh6079 STFU about the card I burnt to a crisp. It's over and done with. God you give me a headache.

No but really I would love to be able to put flamers in here to fight it out. Look how much shorter that AEG/HRC thread would have been.

Hey Avalon do you have a web site that talks about AMD and 65nm I am looking to build in the fall for DX10 and that sounds interesting.

Eh, my x1900xtx gobs up 200w of power. All you environmentalist nazi's can buy a hybrid car and a 7900gt.

This seems like an appropriate time to bring up Godwin's Law

so the more people there are saying stuff, the more likely a specific saying would be made.

that sure is complicated....

The 7900gt is outdated allready also. The ATI cards from the x1 series have outpaced teh 7900gt for months now. I will not buy another Nvidia card untill they add something like AA+HDR or something else that makes my games look good. Otherwise they are just upping the frames and I could care less my frames aren't the issue.
