They don't suck that bad my 7800gt highly overclocked keeps with a 7800gtx 512 on some games and pretty close to an 1800xt if anyting you suck.

Chuck Norris doesn't use NV or ATI but he does use multipulel processing units. He uses both his hands to to draw the frame. If it is a stressful game he overclocks and uses a roundhouse kick.

great is a relative word. Sure the 9200 beats drawing fear stick figures and then moving them really fast to create a moving picture. If you overclock you might be able to draw some AA or AF in there. :laugh:

Thats not the point, buy a 7900gtx or a x1900xtx and use it for a few months, with all the quality etc. Then see if the games look the same on the 9200, i bet u will not be able to bear looking at it, it will look that awful.

U get spoiled with good gfx card. My fx5700 and 9600xt is shiz so u dont see me complain :laugh:

I got spoiled by the 6800ultra, took 3 months of saving to buy, darn that card was good, got my 7800gt as replacement for it (for free ) So i havent spent over 200 bucks for a gfx card for 1.5 years. The 6600gt costed 200 dollars australian (which is good most are 270 bucks) and the 9600xt costed 50 bucks (new fx5200 costs 70 - 100 bucks :Q).... the fx5700 costed 300 bucks 3 years ago(first card i bought). Had a fx5200 which i killed twise , and the 6200 which i gave away. Oh and the 9200se which was so cr@p i returned it within half an hour.

Well i have more than one computer, so need for so many cards. I have 2 computers i look after one is my brothers the other is my parents (i upgrade them for free then sell their old parts). I have 3 comps myself, one is the media box, and the other 2 i use through kvm. Plus u see only 2 of em are any good now days, 7800gt and 6600gt. And i havent bought an expensive card in over 1.5 years.

Plus most of em are low end and i like playing around with hardware to see how i can make it work well.

if u think thats much wait till u see how many cpus i've owned in the last 4 years.

I was wondering what you guys think about grapics get better and gameplay going down. Will there be a game that has both. I am not talking about mmog only singleplayer games cause those have the best plots IMO.

First we need to all have a common ground of what "gameplay" is. Is it being able to control your character and surroundings very realistically? Is it having options and controls available to you that compliment the game as well as make the experience fluid? Is it both? Is it being able to do anything you damn well please aside from the main "objective(s)" in a game? There are many definitions of what gameplay is and it depends from person to person. Once we are all talking about which state of gameplay is degraded by graphics instead of enhanced, then we could begin reasoning on a common level.

Far Cry and Mafia were both beautiful at the time and they both contained some great gameplay. Unfortunately there's still games like Doom 3, Halo, Quake 4, and others that focus on graphics purely.

I wouldn't say that gameplay is being degraded by graphics instead of enhanced, rather I would say that graphics are becoming more the focus. So much so that entertaining gameplay is taking a back seat. I would argue that the classic understanding of gameplay is likened to a plot in a novel.

I want griping stories, however this generation of consoles and for the most part next-gen games seam to stress graphics much more than revolutionary stories. All I have been hearing from the suxbov 360, ps3 and wii are that games should look alot better. That is only half of the experience people.

I just hope that I don't see another stupid FPS with some ridiculous sci-fi storyline. HL2 was good for the first half hour after that it got dumb with the aliens. I just want some diversity it seems like every new game is like that sci-fi. I want a political game perhaps if they took HL2 and made it more like 1984.

Have u tryed halo multiplayer, well try this wizzard map rockets and 4 people, the results are explossive. Far cry i played once and got bored, its purely graphics no particular good storyline. Halo i'm still playing and its pretty good. Legendary is easy now And have i mentioned that ALL weapons are usefull at one time or the other, thats the good thing about halo, u have to plan how u gonna use em, cause if u dont u might end up with and assault rifle vs an elite, or a needler against a hunter (althogh it does not matter u can melle them to death quite easily)

If u want game play and story line, well i havent seen a game with better at that than never winter nights.
