my GF's family used to help with the Girl Scouts... one year, they had over $20,000 worth of sold boxes of cookies in their basement.

According to the scount leader... $19,000 went to the "state headquarters... only $1,000 went to the troops for stuff"

biggest scam allowed.

i agree. my daughters troop has them for $3.50 a box. wich the troop itself gets $.50 out of it.

the only good part is the troop makes enough to do a lot of fun/educational stuff throughout the year.

Most fundraisers like that net the seller at least 50%. Your daughters troop should break free and sell something that will actually help them raise a good amount of money.
