But I got my Fuji FinePix 1400 $50.00 rebate today. No problems with the pdf version coupon submission. No phone calls. No hassle. After all the talk about cancelled rebates, I was starting to worry, but it arrived and is in the bank.

One less hassle to deal with.

Anybody got any issues with Dell.com?

I order a new computer from them a week before Christmas... got it four days after Christmas... after hauling that thing up two flights of stairs and opening the box, i realize that they ship me the wrong stuff... I ordered 1.5 Ghz, they gave me 1.4 Ghz (ok, i should have read the packing slip, but i was way too excited when it finally arrived, can you blame me?)

Then, they miss the promotional printer...

then, the harddrive is smaller...

then, the load all these junk program... that i had to delete...

then, its email only customer service...

Next time, the local computer dealer is where i go back to... at least i can drive there to yell at them...

Well I got SCREWED on the macys.com deal. My order showed up all good and when I go to check it today it is gone again. Did anyone else notice that the original checkout had "enter promotional code(s)" but is now changed to just "enter promotional code" Talk about false advertising. That was no typo on the original page. If it was not there intention to allow multiple codes, why was the order page plural. I AM MAD!!!!!!!

I was in that situation. I send in everything and they said I did not include the PP for the hard drive. Well, I did not include all of it. That is ok, so I went and faxed that to them. Then a week later I get a call saying they did not have the receipt. So I faxed that. Then I call about 3 weeks to check the status and they say they did not get the PP, so I faxed them EVERYTHING and I just checked my status and it is going through now. Get this:

Rebate paperwork was received on: 2000-10-24
Date your rebate was validated: 2001-01-24

3-months to "validate" it!

I get a phone call from the local staples saying that they're out of stock on the 770s (which I knew, as I was just down there, that's why I ordered from the web site). But her manager gave her permission to give me the Epson 880 for the same price!!!

So I got a $150 printer for $70! And it's a MUCH better printer than the 700 series (ink is a lot cheaper).

Actually, I've been getting DSL for free from Flashcom (which went bankrupt or is heading that direction with downsizing) the past year or so. It initially took them forever along with Northpoint to get my connection up, but somewhere along the line, they must've lost my credit card # or customer records when some of their databases went kaput. i got notices about switching to Telocity since Flashcom won't be able to provide service anymore but Telocity has been taking their sweet time so hmm.. we'll see what happens I guess. I'd hate to see my credit card bills once I start getting charged for DSl though hehe.
