Here's my story....
Stay far away from this company!!! I ordered a refurbished Mitsubishi Monitor from thm on Dec 28th, they charged my CC on the 31st. After several e-mails and phone calls asking for the monitor or a refund, they shipped the monitor on the 9th of January. It arrived on the 11th in a perfect box from FedEx, yet the whole top corner of the bezel was broken out. I called and they blamed shipping. I sent pictures of the box and then they admitted they shipped it that way and would send another. Fed Ex picked up the first monitor and the second one arrived on the 18th of January. Once again, this one was cracked in the bottom corner. I called and they shipped another one overnight and picked up the second one. The third one had the whole adjustment bar broken off the monitor. None of these monitor had boxes that were damaged or abused. This company advertises "refurbished" and ships junkyard rejects. I returned the third monitor and am still waiting on a refund. They've had my money for almost a month now. I've filed a complaint with the better business bureau of Northern New Jersey and have disputed the charge with my CC sending them all e-mails and pictures of the trash I was sent. BTW, I found that if they don't respond to your e-mails, CC'ing the parent company's (ADSX can be found on their page) board of directors and division President helps to get a response. Take pictures of any bad merchandise they send you. Its the only way they'll admit any fault.

Low & behold, I won an I-Jam IJ-100 from the Windows ME "Meet me in Hollywood" sweepstakes. I don't remember ever entering. I checked through www.mys*mon.com and the cost of it is from $179.99 - $199.99. WOW!!!

I suffered at the hands of thedigitaldog.com when I ordered my SONY DS-S50 digicam. They promptly charged me for it and mailed it to me after a month and about twenty 30 minute (on hold) telephone calls. I wrote about my experience at CNET and soon after, they dropped these cheats from their list of merchants.

Has anyone received their rebate from Compaq yet? This was the MV920 monitor deal through Mercata. 20% off from Mercata, stacked with 20% off from MS Passport and a $100 mail-in rebate from Compaq. Tracking online says they're processed the mail-in portion & to expect it in 2 to 4 weeks, but it's said that for over a month now.

Who has seen their money?

The weirdest thing came in the mail today, a package full of sample latex gloves. my mom looked at me as if she somehow realised what kind of pervert I truly was... I don't even remember asking for these samples, I think I've got to stop hitting the forums at 2am hehe.

I'm PO'd at staples.com.

Got the Elsa Gladiac 32 MB GTS posted in Dec. plus free TV for what was supposed to be about $126 after pricematch.

First, Staples took their sweet time in shipping.

Then, when I tried to do the PM they said they would do it but I couldn't keep the free TV (they claimed the TV coupon was a dollars off one & I couldn't use two). I had already gotten the TV by then, and from the box it looked like a cheap piece of junk, so back to Staples it went. (BTW, the same week a local store-Ames-had the exact same TV for $27 less $10 MIR).

Then my credit card bill comes. I'm charged twice for the TV with only one credit. I'm charged the full $300+ price for the Elsa-my price match didn't show up.

Several more telephone calls to Staples-they have full records, agree with me what should have happened, but never resolve problem or credit the overcharges. Today I set up a return of the videocard with them (I got a Radeon from buy.com-great card, much better company, and it even cheaper now-I paid $133 in early December). Hopefully, they credit the return properly and finally straighten out the TV overcharge.

I'm going to take up the overcharges with my creditcard company-I fed up with wasting time with Staples. Final conclusion-I end up with nothing from Staples, Staples pays for four seperate deliveries/pickups and has one really upset former customer.

BRAG A few months ago Amazon had some Panasonic FRS radios on sale for I think 50 dollars, and there was also a coupon that would give you 20 off 50. The radios also included a 30 dollar rebate for each. I ordered two of them, and today I received both of the rebates making a grand total of 10 dollars for two very nice FRS radios.
