Anybody have any experience? I've heard good things, non iron dress shirts are 3 for 150, a potential 90 dollar savings. Worth it?

My current shirts are already 50 bucks a piece and are already high quality, but are french cuffed and need to be ironed. Should I get some BB non-iron shirts instead?

BB no-iron shirts are the best. I just bought 6. The thing to look out for is BB assumes a man-o-girth. If you are of normal to slim build only choose from the "slim-fit" selection.

There is a coupon somewhere for free shipping on >$150 as well.

I am wearing a brook's brothers polo right now, love it. Also own several long sleeves, heard great things about the non-irons too. Highly recommend and thx for pointing the sale out.

I love BB's Golden Fleece Polos, I too am wearing one right now as well. Some of my oldest ones (going on 4 years old now) are staring to wear very thin and need replacing so this is a GREAT opportunity and is much more convienient than running to the my local store with the use of the coupon code for free shipping. Buy 4 polos and the total comes to $158 before tax which I would pay either way. Now keep in mind these shirts that are wearing thin are 4 years old and have been worn on average once a week for those 4 years...go buy any polo for the same or less money and wash and dry them ~200 times...Let me know how good they look. My point is that the Golden Fleece polos wear better than ANY other clothing I've ever owned.

I also agree that BB's No Iron shirts are the best...they look pressed right out of the dryer and hold the crease down the arm all day long!

Since codes are now allowed in the forums the free shipping over $150 is: cjbbja07

Thanks for the post OP!

I'll reiterate what's been said already: their non-iron shirts are the best dress shirts I've ever purchased. At these prices, you'll save the difference in cost of a lesser shirt in dry cleaning bills alone. I'll never go back to 'regular' shirts.

yup, that's how i'm justifying it

At 2 bucks a shirt, after 25 weeks each one of these shirts will pay for themselves

I don't like the Brook Brothers no-iron shirts. Admittedly they are the only no-iron shirts I've ever had, but they wear out excessively fast. After complaining to a salesman there after my first batch, I was told that they should NEVER be ironed because that will wear them out real fastI guess the teflon in the shirts doesn't like irons. So I bought a few more and never ironed those. Although they lasted longer, I'd guess their life is half as long as a regular permanent press shirt at best.

OTH, the no-iron thing really works so for some maybe it's worth it. Keep a close eye on your cuffs and collars-they will start to fray even when the rest of the shirt looks great.

Brooks Brothers used to mean top quality, if staid fashions. These days they are much the same as many other brands-their high price stuff is still good quality, but they also sell vastly inferior (and cheaper) merchandise under their brand.

A coworker told me about this sale. I hit up the 5th avenue location in manhattan.

I immediately fell in love. I ended up buying 6 shirts and 4 pairs of cloth cufflings for $320 (no tax). The salespeople were VERY helpful and she followed me around until I found exactly what I was looking for.

The non-iron stuff is good, but getting it done with normal shirts at the dry cleaner does look a tad better. However, at this rate, and the amount of shirts I wear, they are more than fine. Great quality though and they look awesome too.
