I have a HP computer that lies flat on its side its a really nice computer but it has half slots so i can't put normal cards in it and its a BTX board. where can i get good BTX cases for my computer?
You need BTX, full height cards, what else? What are the systems full specs, motherboard, cpu, hard drive(s), optical drives, all that stuff.
You will more than likely need to get a new power supply as well, some cases come with them, some don't but, the one in your HP likely will not fit in a new case.
To get you started, some Aerocool models support BTX with an optional kit available directly from Aerocool. They are the Masstige, Coolview and Zero Degree. I have a Coolview for sale in the FS/T section - my thread is linked below.
And Directron has an InWin case in two colors that fits a micro BTX mobo (which yours probably has) but allows for full-height add-on cards. However, it has precious little room for drives. And you have to check for any curves HP might have thrown as they buy big enough to do proprietary when it suits them. So changing to a bigger case might not be as easy as it would seem at first glance.
Why don't they start making bench cases - where the backplates and drive bay openings are on the same side? (front) Makes it easy for the techies to play.
