Heh heh: The folks at Xoxide.com need to be clued in on the fact that the Soprano case wasn't named after Mafiosos or the HBO series. The word "soprano" refers to the highest singing voice or a person singing the notes in the soprano register of a musical performance.

This has nothing to do with the merits of the case itself, of course, but what a poorly written product description. :roll:

Let's see how long they leave it up before realizing what Thermaltake intended "Soprano" to refer to. "It means what? You mean not Tony Soprano? No 'feds'? No 'family'? Oh ... um ... ooops ... um ... dang!"

Maybe I should be careful here. I don't want some Xoxide employee named Vinny the Shark to "whack" me. :laugh:

The Chaintech board is ok but I would opt for the Asus, Epox or DFI instead. The BIOS is a lot better and the ability to upgrade to a dual core Athlon 64 is also good option to have in the future.

Cases with power supplies that are good, would save you some dough since you are looking at 80 + 80 = $160, would lower the cost by 60 or more dollars.

I'd rather have a decent 350 watt PSU then the others that claim they are 500 watt.

He's using an Athlon 64 3000+ so it will be more then enough, probably could even overclock with it.

PS: Prices for super high quality PSU's keep falling, wait 6 to 8 months and get one in a deal.

I really like the design of the Mod Stream Better cable management, better airflow, and more power. I am thinking of adding another HDD in the future, also I am getting the 3200+ with the 6600gt, could the 350watt power supply be sufficient? Even if it is I feel safer with the Mod Stream.

A brand name 350watt should handle that easily with couple harddrives.

I love the cable management and it's a GREAT power supply and WILL last you a long time.

Just thought you were on a budget.

The sad fact is people pay ridiculous amounts for power supplies not aware that a high quality 300 to 350 would get the job done.
