ok, so im looking for a 32 - 37" lcd tv for $400 or less, but im not sure which way to lean, is most anything up that point comparable, more or less? i know im not going to get stellar quality, i just need something. are buying extended warranties even worth it in that price range?

LG 32" 720p, newegg has it for 300 shipped with a coupon code. reviews say the picture is decent and the sound is meh to ok

macmall has this on ebay for 250 shipped, reviews say horrible sound, decent picture. im thinking of this and....maybe another 40 or 50 bucks on an entry level 2.1 set? ive still got an old 2.1 logitech set i use on my pc that sound good enough.
i just started looking this morning, is there any chance i can get something 1080p worth buying in that price range, like at 37 inches? i figure 40 will probably be getting out of what i can spend, and the toshiba is kinda tempting at the price if i bother to get in on it, but itll probably need speakers
/yeah, not a lot of options on a budget, but it never hurts to ask
thanks
fwiw, its replacing this: http://www.amazon.com/LG-32LG70-32-I.../dp/B0019LPXXS but i dont see the point in getting a 1080p 32" unless its a steal
