Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone could help me with this build that would be used for gaming as well as recording (Pro Tools, Ableton), and some light Photoshop.

The big two things I'm stuck with are the video card and whether or not I should go for 32GB of RAM. I heard some things about EVGA's 900 series having problems with the fan. Unfortuantely, I always used EVGA cards in the past because of they were always given high praise, so I'm not too sure if I should be looking towards another brand now.
The 32GB of RAM would raise the price significantly but may be good for my other uses for the machine such as Pro Tools and Photoshop. I'd love to just put the 16 in now and upgrade later, but upgrading isn't as easy when you're supposed to get the exact same RAM a year down the line. Plus, the only kits I can find in either 16 or 32GB are 4x. I can't find a kit that I could have 2x16 now and 2x16 later... If I did 16 now, I would end up with 8x32GB RAM down the line, which seems like a lot of stress on the memory controller.
