sofar I have these for my budget build for gaming
4g ddr2800
1hd 500gb
ati xhd 3850

I need suggestions for mobo and proc ive been looking at newest frys deals

amd 5600x2 + ecs geforce 7050sm-m for 130 but I cant find online reviews for the mobo

also I am wondering around how much I should spend for a proc/mobo since I spent about 200 on the vid card.

I also need a cd-rom/burner and a case+psu combo. thanks in advance

this weekend at frys:

P945 board /w intel E2180. 79.99 grab that.

It should be retail box with sink. Make sure you ask. If its OEM, pick up the coolermaster heat sink that looks like the artic freezer 7.

If you like the stock settings, then keep it as it is. If you want to overclock your going to need a better board. Gigabyte P35-DS3L is a great budget board.

But this route is a lot better then the amd route.


Dont get a PSU case combo unless its a high end case. If you need somethign cheap look at the Antec Earthwatt series. A 430W version should do fine.

Case, whatever you find most attractive too. Make sure the reaar exhaust is 120mm tho.

I thought they sucked at overclocking...only mild o/c possible.
