1) I desperately need a better monitor. Torn between a black 19" CRT or splurge for one of these. My 15" .28 dp CRT has lasted me since my Pentium 100 I got when I was 14 (I'm 19 now). So a kick-ass LCD should last me a while.

2) Dual 2000+'s when they come out

3) Add at least another 512 MB DDR

Whew, whoo,whoo, dems somes kindas speakers. BTW what would be the price for those.

I believe it's $150K per pair. $300K just for the speakers. The sub towers are $17K each.

But, I wouldn't team them with the same Nak receiver that a peon like me owns. You would havta team them with some Levinson Mono's.

Actually, the audio doesn't go through the Nakamichi receiver at all, if you notice the directions at the end of each sound device. Only the video goes through, and that is uninterrupted (video doesn't need to be amplified). Besides, I'd hate to have to reconnect the stuff each time I do something different, or have more than 1 TV or such.

All the audio goes to the pre-amp. Gotta love that Boulder.

FreeBSD or Linux, having both for the sake for having them is pointless, ditto for XP Pro and 2000 Pro

are the rest of the components even compatible with those OSes? How about a mobo that will house those PCI controllers?

Datacenter is slower than Professional, but has more features for servers.

FreeBSD and Linux aren't the same, I think.

The Tiger MPX has 2 64/66 PCI slots, and 4 33/32 slots. The two 64/66 slots are for the Qlogic controllers. Hercules GT XP in 1 PCI slot, Aardvark DP 24/96 in 2, and the two V5 5500s in the rest.
