Building a Video Editing Machine

I have a budget of $2000 and am looking for a setup for a dual-monitor computer to be used exclusively for video editing and DVD authoring. I will be using Vegas 5.0+DVD software.

I already have the monitors, so the $2000 would be used for the system itself.

The Videoguys have always done me good with software. Cheapest place for Sound Forge and tend to keep mfgr upgrades around longer than the mfgr at the deal price.
