Burning videos on dvd

I dont get it. I got home movies, and i want to burn them to a dvd. They say MEDIA PLAYER FILE and wont come up with nero. Is there something im missing?

well, you need to convert what file you have (maybe it is DV file?) to mpeg2.

If you are running Nerovision express the MPEG2 DVD encoder is not included. Go to nero.com and purchase the encoder. That is what you are lacking.
Also, read the users guide on how to acquire video and how to burn disks, format,etc.

Get Nero or Roxio. As for format, I recommend VOB's so you can play it in your home DVD system.
