You never asked a question. You made some specualtions that belong in another thread. I've asked my "question" at least half a dozen times and you rightwingers ignore it and want to talk about the documents. So how about answering my "boring" question?

How about it??

When yo can actually figure out why Laura Bush and every other expert out there claims the memos are "probably" forgeries, get back to me.

How about it? Care to answer this in a truthful and honest manner sans the normal finger-pointing hyperbole? It's still an interrogative and requests that you provide some feedback. You have as yet failed to do so, seemingly ignoring it instead.

I'll be waiting.

I can figure it out. Now what's your point? Why doesn't GWB come out and declare them to be false? WHY?? He sends his wife out to make a statement about it? LOL Why didin't he come out and call them forderies, or just say, "hey, those documents are all lies??

And I would like an answer to the champange unit question, Mr. Educated in English.

I'm waiting for a straight answer.

You didn't answer my question. You asked more questions. Nice try at evasion but...bzzzzt. Try again.

Put your question in the form of a specific question. I beleive I know why and I believe I've answered your question more then once.

Ask it again and be specific and I will answer it as well as I can.

Then it will be your turn.

The question has already been asked in a specific enough manner. If you continue with the games I'll simply stop responding to you. You're hyperbole is already wearing thin.

LMAO, You demand an answer to the question, yet you refuse put a direct, specific question to me? Is that too much to ask?

It is you who is trying to play word games. This is the second time you have threatened to "stop responding" to me. I really hope you do and quit wasting my time.

Care to try and answer my question? No one else seems to want to.

No one as yet has even attempted to answer my question regarding the "champange unit". How did GWB along with Bentson's son, Conalley son , Adger's two sons and several members of the Dallas Cowboys all end up in the same chamgane unit? Do you expect us to believe it was mere coincidence?? LOL

PREPONDERANCE OF EVIDENCE is the key. AWOL is the question. GUILTY is the verdict.

I can't help but wonder what GWB's 3415 fellow Texans who were Vietnam war casualities would have to say about it if they were alive to ask him.

$50,000 to anyone who can prove Bush served between May '72 and May '73 link
Got proof that President Bush fulfilled his National Guard duties? It could be worth $50,000.
Texans for Truth, a Democratic "527" organization that has attacked the president's service record, is offering a reward to anyone who can prove that Bush performed his duties in the Air National Guard between May 1972 and May 1973.
"If the president won't come clean that he dodged his military responsibilities in Alabama during the height of the Vietnam War, we'll continue our search for the whole story," said Glenn Smith, head of the group.

I find it odd that its so easy to verify that Bush served in the early part of his service (records and eyewitness accounts), but right around May 1972, when Bush was supposed to show up in Alabama, nobody can remember seeing him. There is no record of him being there.
(disclaimer: none of this relies on the CBS memos)

Why should Bush need defend himself at all? The documents are false, the press is all over it, the experts are all over it. Paying attention to bad behavior only encourages it. Any Psychologist will tell you the same. By paying attention to something (like denying them as false) only diverts time spent for more worthwhile pursuits, like rearranging his sock drawer. If you have something to hide, or if the press actually believed CBS (and they don't), then perhaps the time spent would be in his interest, otherwise.......not.

and BTW, just because you put a smiley or three after something doesn't make your antics less childish. If you have issues with another member, either take it to P.M., or to a moderator. Acting like my daughter (she's nine) only encourages others to do the same.

I've stated why I think he should address it. He obviously doen't want to.

If my behavior bothers you, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to change just because you think I should. To call me childish doesn't change the facts.

The documents haven't been proven false. Comparing them to "bad behavior" makes me laugh

CBS hasn't retracted them. They might and they might not, but haven't yet.

GWB hasn't addressed the issue directly. He could if he choose to, but for some reason won't????

The fact is that this matter is under the Repug's skin. It's hurting Bush and the right doesn't want to admit it. Now republican congressman are calling for a congressional investigation?? LMAO They are calling the documents forgeries and that has not been proven?? More lying Repug's. If I were you, I'd be ashamed to admit I was a Bush man at this point.

WHY DOESN"T BUSH ADDRESS THIS AND PUT HIS REPUTATION ON THE LINE???? WHY?? WHY?? WHY??

Until he does, I'm forced to conclude he is hiding the truth. It's just that simple.

personally, i'm convinced that this vigorous attack upon GWB's Air National Guard Service is the key to the White House for Sen. Kerry.

Combined with a relentless refrain of "I served with distinction in Vietnam" i am confident that Sen. Kerry is firmly on track to a resounding landslide victory over the international terrorist Bush and his cabal.

It's kind of hard to come up with good facts to defend your lying leader, isn't it.

Just keep supporting the president who can come up with excuses, but not jobs.

what i am amazed at is the utter coincidence that the DNC/Kerry are running ads entitled "Fortunate Son" which tries to lambast Bush for having a famous father (that's a felony!!).

At exactly at the same time that Dan Rather interviews a Kerry campaign director who has donated nearly $400,000 to Kerry election related groups (but clearly an unbias individual), who claims that Bush was given special treatment because his Dad was famous.

Yep, it's a felony to have a famous Dad.
And it's an amazing coincidence that the Rather piece and the DNC ads appear simultaneously.....

now i get it!

Bush is Hitler!!

Well, HS perhaps you will answer this question:

Is it a crime to have a famous dad, no. Is it a crime to misuse power granted to you by the voters for your own personal reasons? YES

I just got done watching the video of Dan Rather interviewing Marion Knox and all I can say is YEAHHHH!!!! Just the way I imagined it went down. Now lets see the Rove smear machine attack this little old lady.

As of Sep 16th, not one "expert" has verified the questioned documents, and the originals have not been seen by anyone. Care to guess why?

I find it amusing that Bush's numbers continue to climb after the supposedly "damaging" documents are "found". America isn't tolerant of Rathers antics, nor CBS attitude in dealing with it. The fellow networks are busy discrediting CBS and it's "News". Jason Blair is looking for work, maybe CBS can hire him to co-host with Rather, as thy have much in common.

CBS antics gave a black eye to the DNC, and voters will likely remember that the actions of a few corrupted Radical Democrats, whether on their own, officially, or for whatever reason, crossed the line. This is added to the violence by other "bad seeds" , of the Democratic Party supporters at the RNC convention. The picture is not one I appreciate.

These two actions, while not interconnected in the least, show the hand of the Kerry supporters in a very bad light. Most Conservative Democrats do not approve of this in the least. They may not vote for Bush, but now, they may abstain from voting at all.
