My professor told me a great Bushism the other day:

Bush says in outrage: "What do the French know? They don't even have a word for entrepreneur!"

Come on man... not everyone is as bright or as quick as you. Heck, it took me a few seconds to realize that entrepreneur is a french word. Bush probably never took french, and just didn't make the connection.

Sadly it's on record somewhere. When I use Bushism it's always in reference to something that he himself said. ALthough I'm sure there are lots of quotes out there that are falsely attributed to him- this one came from a very credible source.

Secondly, a comedian is the one who SUPPOSEDLY started the rumor that Bush said this. Where is your reliabe source. I want to see it on the record. I have not found it ANYWHERE on the record yet. Only on "Bushism" websites.

I'm sorry, but that statement is just plain stupid and short-sited. Maybe, because so many fabricated lines have been made up that you only believe it could happen.

just look at his progression on the links between iraq and al-qaeda:

first it was "iraq and al-qaeda are inextricably linked"
then it was "iraq could be harboring some al qaeda members"
then most recently it was "we have intelligence that iraq is training al-qaeda like organizations"

What do you base that on? Just because he is not an expert in everything that goes on in the world, you think he is stupid? I'd like to see you run a country and never make a mistake. The media just jumps on every little mistake he makes and makes it seem like he makes a lot of them. You make tons of mistakes everyday. How would you like a group of new reporters writing a story everytime you mispronounced a word? or every time you said a phrase slightly wrong. He may not be the smartest person in the world (probably not even close), but he has many skills that your or I don't posses that makes him better at the job than others. Everyone has skills that they excel in, and skills that they are not so good at.
