Vladik: You are proud of yourself? If you had any morals you'd comply with buy.com. It's crap like this that'll piss off buy.com and then they'll no longer offer ANY coupons ever. I personally like buy.com and believe anyone who won't let them charge you the $50.00 is a THIEF! You and everyone else knows it's wrong to cheap the stuff. It's stuff like this that makes it so the rest of us find fewer &amp; fewer legitimate hot deals every day. All the companies have to cover their butts, so we see fewer coupons &amp; the like. Even Anandtech has stopped allowing coupons posts because they cannot afford to be associated with the frequent abuse that goes on. Trying to use the coupon is one thing, but worse yet is when you actually feel that you have the right to get $50 worth of stuff for free &amp; thinking that buy.com is in the wrong for being upset about their single-day $250,000 loss!!! Grow up.

Speaking of &quot;beta&quot; - no companies with a good web/marketing team would ever put anything BETA on their live site, unless they intend it to be used/viewed by the public.

Beta sites need to be concealed and accessible only by people in the know - not by everyday folks like us.

[edit:] This is not to say anything in regards to the &quot;deal&quot;, but more of a comment about Buy.com's website practices. I think most web design companies/groups know beta anything should never be put up on a live site...

It's retards like VlaDICK that have helped to get coupons banned from AnandTech and similar losses of freedom. What an a-hole.

Maybe AnandTech can release his info to buy.com. Perhaps he can be tracked as he tries to hawk his briefcases in egay.

I come here for Hot Deals (like the Plextor 12X CDR for $218), and the like; I'd like to see more of those. Well, we'll see what happens.
