Buying a new suit... Online?!

I need to take advantage of the next semi annual sale. Remember what the discount was?

They're currently doing a 25% off for Brooks card holders, but nothing is in stock.

I went the day the sale started and picked it off the clearance rack. Its a dark navy blue light pinstripe suit. I think it was like 25% off and I had a coupon for 15% off over 500 bucks or something. I also got a silk tie and a few never-iron shirt along with it. All of it was less than 600 out the door, made out pretty well.

I can't imagine ever buying clothes of any kind online. Even something that was an exact duplicate of what I've purchased in the past, I still want to look it over before forking over money for it. Inspect for any kind of bad stitching, misalignment, etc. Shipping it back and forth to get a good one is not my idea of fun.

I dress 10x nicer and spend the same amount as if I were buying in store. Watching for sales and clearance online has saved me tons of $$$ and wearing stuff I wouldn't be able to afford otherwise.

A $1000 pair of shoes I'll take a chance on for $100 from Amazon. If they didn't fit, I'd have shipped them back or flipped them.

It can be worth the hassle when the nicest store in the area is JC Penny, etc.
