There's not much they can do with DVD by now. Keep in mind, DVDs still have to work on old players, so they can't modify it much. The best attempt they tried lately was ArCOSS and that was cracked before a single movie had it...

Don't worry, once the new HD format is finalized and issued, some enterprising geek somewhere will crack it, or a sympathizer within one of the companies will "accidentally" leak the encryption scheme.

Someone will make a program at some point to do the same thing these other programs did.

you can replace shrink w/ nero reencode...i think it may even be for the same programmer

DVD Decryptor wasn't really the best at what it did for a long while anyways though, many programs did it better and on the fly... they cost money though. For freeware, it was truly great to have and use though.

I think that may be the reason why development on DVDShrink ceased, and not the MPAA/DMCA/"insert govt agency here"
