I wore-out my Ratzpad. So I mounted a sheet of C4 to it. Turned out pretty damned spiffy, if don't say so myself. Just ask Rockhammer

Can you post a Pic?

Hi. Some kind of an error is happening with this freight. We ran Test Orders on our live webpage and then on EBay but freight on all tests calculates between $2.50 to maximum of $6.00, (Tested orders up to $24.00+).

We value our AT customers greatly and would not intentionally overcharge. Can you give me the order particulars on a private message so I can check for errors? (Info needed: Was the order on our site or ebay? $ value of order? )

We will correct this immediately.
Thanks for the heads-up

The error was commited by me.
I was at work yesterday trying to order and I miss understood what the yellow bar on the shopping cart page said.
I just now put in an order, and Im sorry about my earlier post, your site seems to be working fine.

Shipping is only 2.50. Great customer service.

I will remove my post above.

thanks.

Oh man, I just ordered a 16x16 piece and some teflon tape for the staples mx duo I just got. You guys suggest I stick it directly onto a piece of wood or something? I have a nice gel wrist rest I took off of my 3m precise mousing surface, so I will use that and I figure a thin piece of wood would be great for this. Any surfaces you DON'T suggest sticking it onto? Oh man, I can't wait for this stuff to come!

directly on the wood, i don't see how some people say it peels at the corners unless you did applied it wrong or constantly rub against it for some reason... i have two 8x9 sheets here directly on the wood(upper and lower sections) and i use my desk like 15 hours a day... this has been on for just about 3 months and it works great(although i should've opted for a larger sheet of c4 instead of the small, but it suits me fine)

"Pending its review, the EPA says it is not now advising consumers to stop using Teflon products. The results of the agency?s review of the safety of C-8 and of Teflon-related products that may release it are expected in coming months."

Interesting. Keep us posted on this. What is suppose to be wrong with Teflon? Cancer? Poison? Rashes? Impotence?

Ok. Got the new C4 one with it premounted on a mouse pad. Shipping was damn fast, I ordered it Friday, got it today.

All items can individually wrapped in plastic and sealed. Very Professional shows a lot of care went into packaging.

My review, the actual copper color looks very chic. It has a metallic reflection to it and definately has texture to it when you run your fingernails over it. It is the same size as a Dell black Freebie Mousepad, and the thickness of it, is like Two Dell Mousepads on top of each other. The mouse movements are silky smooth on it, and I think this is definately an awesome investment at only $9.99 for the Mousepad and $1.95 more for 16 mouse skates.

I've been using my C4 for quite some time now and it holds up very well. I have it stuck to the top of an everglide pad.

Is C4? made of teflon?

I just cut and stuck a large sheet of c4 a cheap, handled cutting board I got at Walmart. The board itself slides around a bit so I will need to buy some rubber feet, but other than that its great! I havent tried any games yet, but just mousing around in windows feels very nice.

Sure is, friend. Confirmed by the manufacturer. . . "Laminated Teflon"

I have been beta testing the larger 16x16 and the smaller C4 pad. There is one problem I noticed, it seems like alot of dust collects on the pad. The bottom of my mouse always collects full of junk. This doesn't happen with my func pad.

Anyone else have this problem?

Wow could not help, but order one with all the reviews. "polymer fume fever" kinda scares me, but oh well I need a better Mouse Pad. Besides my mousepad won't ever get above 350-400 Degrees. Dunno about my Teflon Pans tho......

IANAC (I Am Not A Chemist), but I really dont think you are in any danger of fume inhalation from this product, but as the previous poster mentioned, you might want to hold off on those teflon coated cooking items at least until the study is issued.

actually, yes. that would be my only complaint, but I'm not sure what could be done about this.

Just thought I'd say thanks for this thread. I just got my C4 pad today and it's really great. A lot nicer than my dying ratpad GS!

I agree as long as the laminate doesn't cause cancer It's not too shabby of a deal for 10 bucks - does anyone know if the skate on the feet of your mouse are necessary? Is it still slick without them?

BAM!

Got myself a small C4 a month ago and it's been fantastic. Stuck the sheet on an old regular mouse pad and trimmed the corners to fit nicely. I was kind of disappointed at first cuz it didn't feel much slicker on it than the wood of my desk. I figure it must be the mouse feet so I stuck a few pieces of that clear vinyl book cover "thingie" and it became very slick. I imagine using the teflon mouse skates would be even slicker, but this works very nice as well.
