Call of Duty 4 Trailer!!!

Must watch! Gametrailers.com says that the platform is 360 and PS3. If this is true, its the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Thats just like making Halo3 only come out the the PC and not the 360.

There hasn't been any official announcements of where the game is going. The idiots over at gametrailers just guessed it was going to the PS3 and 360 since that's where the last one went.

Sweet Jesus! Infinity Ward did the original COD right? Cuz the franchise has been sucking ass ever since. But it'll be interesting to see their take on modern combat given what they've done on the original COD.

It doesn't look very different than the other CODs. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully, it'll have a good story to go with the intense combat. But I'm starting to miss those one man killing machine FPSs.

I hope it's very much like CoD 1. CoD2 sucked hard(no reliance on teammates, they just get replaced easily, AI's are just scripted dumb enemies, game felt tooo obviously scripted, game didn't nearly feel as immersive and intense as the groundbreaking first game). I haven't tried 3, but people say it sucks.

This just looks like a CoD except w/ a modern element. I hope they have kept the immersion and intensity that was there w/ the first game.

it was bad. health system, lame teammates that get replenished, gameplay repetition, stupid enemies, scripting was too obvious, lack of immersion and intensity, enemy was just fodder and very scripted, and the hardest difficulty only allowed the enmy to be more accurate. their movements were still stupid. I rather have the enemy use good AI w/ crappy accuracy, instead of AI that is too scripted, can see you from anywhere, and shoot w/ autobot accuracy.

even w/ that, the hardest mode in COD2 was FAAAAR easier than the hardest difficulty in COD1.

COD 2 all in all, was just plain terrible. it was the lamest game i've ever had to displeasure of playing on my computer, where COD1 was one of the best FPS's I've ever played in my life.

I liked both CoD1 and 2. Pissed that 3 didn't come out on PC.

I have to agree that 2 wasn't quite as good as 1 since they had to dumb it down for console users.

Seriously, some people here have warped opinions when it comes to games... perfectly decent (if not downright great) games get rubbished to hell ? and I'm not just meaning CoD2.

As far as CoD 4 goes, I'm eagerly awaiting it. Infinity Ward are truly talented, we should support them fully. There are depressingly few developers up to their standards when it comes to PC gaming.

I've never played Call of Duty, but I found Call of Duty 2 to be one of the best FPS games I've ever played. I found the campaigns, especially the Russian campaign, to be amazing. Call of Duty 3 was pretty bad, but that was console-only and by a different developer.

Having played both COD & COD2 on PC I've found COD3 is (yawning) boring...I'm trying to sell the game @ FS/FT forum for weeks and still no takers.

Activision hasn't and won't announce any platforms for several weeks.

The fact is, the only platform that was listed on their site before the page got taken down was PC DVD
