Good game last night. I owned you with my kills and KDR though.

Yeah good game(s). I've been trying to be more aggressive lately to force myself to aim better more quickly. I thought I hit my stride in this game a few weeks back but I haven't been playing too well lately.

Looks like a new patch this morning...

Of course I got a system lockup while trying to connect to multiplayer :awe:

You only get a pistol. If you equipped something else like a crossbow, you default to pistol.

I think it's a particular type of pistol too so say you had a 1911, you won't end up with that when you are doing second chance, but I may be wrong on this. Maybe you can keep your tricked out pistol.

If you use a pistol as your secondary, it's your pistol. It's pretty awesome rolling with the CZ75 Extended Mag, getting downed and having 18 rounds at your disposal to dispatch whatever comes your way.

Thanks. That's how I've got my secondary set up & was wanting it to use my CZ with the extra rounds instead of some default pistol. Although I was tempted to go full auto instead.

Not noticed this. I often keep pounding lead into most fuckers until I see points, so it's a non-issue using that method.

I use the same method, there is a few moments of invincibility where they are falling down. I got killed just this morning because before he was fully down I had to reload.

I actually haven't used a pistol since the SP. When I first started MP I'd ditch it for some of the higher level guns that were on the ground, although I gave that up after a little while as it seemed I'd get killed shortly after grabbing one.

After I looked at the gun chart you posted, it appears the 1911 & CZ are pretty much the same. The CZ shows a little bit more range & a larger starter clip so I went with it as my secondary when I got it unlocked.

I think the reason it says connection interrupted is because people go to dashboard rather than quitting when they want to back out.

fully auto upgrade on the CZ is nice though. That's my preferred secondary weapon on my sniper class.

Another thought on this game... I really think that making the kdr publicly viewable is a horrible idea. It seems, people leave all the time once they see our team grouped up. I'm thinking they're looking at kdr for people on the other team and saying "F that".

I know that a bunch of players do look at your K/D ratio but I don't know if they leave based on it. The only time I really check people's K/D is if they whip my ass and I want to see if it was just a fluke or if they really are that good
I know that when I was playing with Kabob's AVS group the other team leaves pretty much every round.

I know that when I was playing with Kabob's AVS group the other team leaves pretty much every round.

It's because of our intimidating muscles and such.

I hate this perk because it messes with one of the fundamental "skills" of the game - winning a firefight with your opponent. It's especially bad in CQC - killed some guy today up close, while ADS - he falls right at my feet and kills me before I can back up to re-aim. Lame.

I LOVE that people use this in domination. I'll get them in last stand then run off and leave them there to be useless for their team while we take the capture points.

Problem is... if he has second chance pro and was on his 8th kill, a buddy picks him up, he murks a noob, gets a huey in the sky, everyone runs and hides, and they recapture those points.

I hate that perk.

If I see someone has Second Chance, I run away from them and, from behind a corner, toss a flashbang or concussion toward them. It kills them 100&#37; of the time and I am protected from an untimely death.

I do that too, but only because I think its funny. I also use Nova Gas and its fun seeing them try to crawl away.

Played a bunch of games with some AVS guys last night, one of the most dominating nights I've had. I used UAV/CUAV/Attack Chopper (which does next to nothing) and was rocking some great scores.

On the flip side though, there's a new SUPER cheap tactic people are using on Grid. There's a big rock right next to "C" that, if you stand behind, gives you almost perfect cover. I played two games (one last night, one this morning) where a guy camped there all match and racked up the kills.

This is the last guy, wonder how much he camps on average (his win ratio was something like .61):

I am trying to get my Ghost Pro perk. I think that's the one where one of the requirements is to place 10 bombs. They give you 3 choices of game types to play, like Search and Destroy. Thing is, I always play Domination and I am not really sure how to play the others. Which one is the easiest for me to pick up so I can get Pro?

yes but a majority of the time (IMO) they don't, they try to wait for you to come back to finish them off. A lot of times they are either 1) hoping to kill you 2) if they have second chance pro, waiting for someone to revive them.

I've captured quite a few domination flags while watching a guy that I just put into second chance try to crawl around an obstacle to shoot at me (like the jeep near B on firing range)

Just curious, did you see how much playtime he had?

I've seen quite a few people who will leave matches if they are not getting a good K/D. That would explain his terrible win/loss ratio. I'm sure you could do the same if you only stuck in matches where you were doing well.

IIRC it was around 8 days, he may still be in my recent players list, I can check.
