I would definitely agree that it's up there. By far the best COD in my opinion (from a multiplayer perspective - COD4 still holds the belt for singleplayer)

222.22 for TDM and 334.67 for HQ. There's just so much more opportunity for points in HQ.

It's in the Leaderboards section of your Playercard. You can also access it when you're in a lobby by looking at the lobby leaderboard.

Lobby leaderboard has it if you're in a lobby. Other than that go to playercard > community > leaderboards. It shows it.

I didn't get a chance to play yesterday, but tonight I will be using the AK74u as always. I have put a good amount of time into it, so I will comment back if there is any real difference.

I might switch back to HQ if the PPM is higher than Domination. I used to play nothing but HQ in CoD4 and I gained a ton of points, but I did have a team.

Could you tell me what your HQ rank is overall? I played with a guy who had like 330 PPM in Domination and he was ranked 138th for the week. If it is that much higher in HQ at much lower ranks, I will be switching.

I'm ranked 13444 for the week in HQ. Do they rank it by PPM or is it by some other metric?

Ranked by PPM. Sadly, there is some kind of cheat because the leaders in Domination for all time have like 68465496846516 PPM and have like 2 kills and 0 caps / defends in Domination...

This happens in every COD, I don't know why they don't prune the leaderboards and ban all these obvious hackers.

I tired the AK74u out at lunch, and I think it reload slower, but that is the only change I saw. I tried HQ and kept getting onto terrible teams (games were 160+ to 0 when I joined...) The game I finally stayed in, I somehow managed to only get double kills. I kept seeing multiple people and spraying a clip for a double, reloading, and getting another double. >_>

I might have to try HQ out with a group tonight.

We've got two biggies going on today in the Xbox world. The first is the 1.06 patch, and the second is a "dead mans glitch" where you can kill a person by knifing their dead body.

&#8226; Adjustments to the PSG1 with attachments.
&#8226; AK74U adjustments.
&#8226; RCXD adjustments.
&#8226; Silenced sniper rifle adjustments.
&#8226; Removed hit markers when shooting friendly equipment.

Glitch in summary: kill player. Run up to their dead body. Once they have respawned, immediately knife the dead body. Voila, +50 and the player dies again.

It's never boring in the COD universe!

Got the update last night, played around with ak74u, and didn't notice much of a difference as well.

I still think it reloads slower than before. That is the only difference I noticed. They may have toned down the damage, but with rapid fire, who cares?

I'm finding it harder and harder to pick up this game. Not due to glitching or hit detection or anything, it just doesn't excite me like the MW games do. I think I've played it 30 minutes total in the past week while I spent 5+ hours on Halo. Heck, I've played more MW2 than Black Ops this week. I've lost my interest in playing solo, the only time I want to play is when you guys are on (which wasn't last night unfortunately!).

I actually contemplated selling it back to Amazon (they're offering something like $35 for it) but there would go my game with my friends and then I'd be a sad panda.

I got your reach invite last night but I wasn't playing very long and was itching for some black ops. You are almost my exact opposite though. I hated MW2 and gave that one up pretty quick, but I love Black Ops and cant' get enough of it. Bring on the map pack!

I'm with you. MW2 was too random. Black Ops actually requires/rewards strategy.

Thirded. Black Ops doesn't put me into a rage caused by ridiculous nonsense happening every 30 seconds like MW2 did.

MW2 and BlackOps have both been failures in the sense of a AAA title's release and initial impact for the players. I was ranked #20 in wins and score in CoD4 on PSN under this name and bought both of these games on release day, even got MW2 for both consoles. I was done with MW2 before New Year's on both platforms and done with Black Ops around the same time.

Neither offers the legit competitive gameplay that CoD4 offered and they both felt like betas for at least a month after they released. I have really lost faith in this franchise despite my love of MW1 and I hope that maybe Respawn can bring back the purity of gameplay that CoD4 had. The hit detection in hardcore was so amazing in that game, completely accurate.

One of my teammates from CoD4 told me there is a god glitch in CoD4 now or I would probably be playing it. I traded my Blops for Red Dead but I'm going to re-trade and get Black Ops back just because my old team is still playing it a bit. I'm hoping something will come down the pipe and sort of get rid of the CoD franchise though. IMHO, it had it's chance to really be a premier trendsetter/leader in the industry and it has flopped in my view.

Sales aren't everything.

That's so weird. I have the exact opposite experience. I felt like things were spread out more in MW2, and am having just random chaos all over the place in Black Ops.

I just put Black Ops up for sale. Kill zone here we come!

I took a break from Black Ops and went back to doing a 2nd playthrough of Dead Space. I've thought about putting it up on CL just to see if anyone local would bite on trading Dead Space 2 for it.
