I just think it could get grindy having to mash out games to buy things for guns. Sometimes it does work out where you get attachments quick, but buying the pro version of a perk after I just did all the goals for.I'm actually very happy with the purchase system. Instead of having to jump through hoops to get the attachments I want, everything is unlocked and I get to customize right off the bat.

Why is my thread suddenly in a generic Blops topic rather than the one I started for a different subject matter?
It's about Black Ops, everything about Black Ops goes in here. Stop cluttering up the forums with extra unnecessary threads. If you were talking about your likes or dislikes of Hello Kitty Online, then you can create a new thread.
It's always awarded you the kills for when a host quits, not sure about the win though.

Why is my thread suddenly in a generic Blops topic rather than the one I started for a different subject matter?
Because there are plenty of comments in this thread already about stuff that isn't liked about Black Ops. No need to go off and create a separate thread for ground already covered.
I can think of a million better ones, starting with Doom.
Alright, so let's hear everyone's single favorite map along with their single most hated map. I think we've all been able to play it enough by now to know which way we lean on both.
My favorite at the moment is Array. I like the open terrain around 3/4's of the map. I was torn about listing either Array or Summit, but if I had to pick one, it'd be Array at the moment.
The one I dislike the most is Radiation. I just hate the layout and it's hard to get a good "path" through the level without leaving yourself vulnerable from so many positions. My dislike map was a tossup between this and Crisis.
By that logic, you may aswell create a thread called Games and just write everything in that thread, making it almost impossible to find what your looking for, if the mods are obsessed with neatness, then it's a considerably better structure to have separate threads for each indivisible subject. Rather than moderating everything leave stuff and the natural order of things, I.e the threads that people respond to will weed out the irrelevant.
Ive noticed that many PS3 ports are poorly done. Worse graphics with worse performance. Theres an IQ comparison video on gametrailers where it shows that the PS3 clearly lacks.
I still cant get Ghost Pro god damnit. No one but me uses the damn sentry.

Not unless there was a host migration. The stats get sent at the end of the game; if there's no "end", there's no stats upload.
So now can we get back on subject, instead of comparing this game to everything else out there. I get sick of reading through garbage to get to the meat and potatoes about BLACK OPS.

For my favorite it would be a toss up between Array, Summit and Grid. All are very well done and have really good flow. Launch isn't bad except for when the missile takes off. I'm also warm to Cracked and Havana, and Hanoi to a lesser degree. I'm with you on Radiation and Crisis.
An example of a distinct subject would be setting up a game night thread, talking about zombie mode strategies or other tips and tricks.
Unless it's something drastically different or that requires a different line of discussion (ex: AVS has a general Black Ops thread and a Zombie Strategy thread), just put everything in the main thread.
Which one is Crisis again? I can't seem to recall that one.

I do actually have a generic Blops question, why the fudge can you not set how long the game is?!?!! It's driving me insane, and for that matter what happened to hardcore mode.
