Yeah, and I want to slightly change a setting I mentioned. Upon some further thought, you probably don't want to prioritize ACK and other flags, as setting the 360 to highest priority should do this already for traffic flowing from the 360. Doing it globally might push this overhead traffic from other IPs ahead of the 360. And I might be wrong on this, but online games usually use UDP, which doesn't even use these flags anyway.

I'm also fairly sure you don't want the 360 on the dmz. This will route all unsolicited traffic to it, which might clog out the data you actually want. As long as the correct ports are forwarded, this should be unnecessary anyway.

From watching the realtime bandwidth chart, it seems like CoD would still be playable on a 56k modem. Your ping would be terrible, but there is so little actual data being transferred, and it's extremely time sensitive, that every little thing you can do counts.

BD-Do you know of a place where there is a guide to this stuff? I have no idea what tomato is and I've never messed with my router since i got it. I couldn't even tell you the brand. Its black and has some sort of wifi, but i plug the xbox in with a hardwire.

Nothing new until 14th prestige, where you get gold cammo on weapons. I could be wrong though.

Reminds me of Halo Reach's flaming helmet that came with the collectors edition - I like to call it the headshot helmet . They as may as well paint a target on your characters back, it will be just as useful lol.

Fired up the 360 this morning and there was an update for Black Ops. Played Merc so I don't know if it's the party system fix but it was big enough to be so (6MB).

Custom class is the biggest part. You can also unlock the Prestige MP lobbies (very few people playing in there though) and the Prestige leaderboards.

I was partied up with a friend yesterday afternoon in a match on Firing Range. About midway through the match, I checked my score and noticed that all of our teammates had quit and it was 2 on 5 at this point. I believe they realized this and started packing up in a big group and running through the map looking for us. We were down quite a bit when I realized we were two-manning it, but managed to come back and finish the game in a draw.

We were up a couple of kills late in the match but my friend got killed, then I was killed with 3 seconds left to end in a draw. I got my first triple kill in that match as well, since they were bunched up. I ran through a doorway and 3 of them were running right next to each other. I just sprayed bullets without the scope and took all of them down before a fourth killed me from the side.

Had a lot of fun with that match, with the odds stacked against us.
