Just razzing you. Yeah shortly after I joined I noticed no one was coming in. Got dropped to a personal lobby & waited a little for invite. Didn't get one so I just moved on to working on Ninja pro.
And we didn't kick ya to the cold, we had 9 in our party in Ground War and we were in a room that wasn't populating.
i rarely even get spy planes.
For anyone who's struggling to destroy a Sentry Gun for Ghost Pro, I have a solution. I was contemplating not prestiging again because of how difficult it's become to find a Sentry Gun nowadays, then this morning I had an idea.
Free-For-All. Get a few AnandTechers or other friends in an FFA game with you and it should be super easy, just be in party chat, get the CP containing said gun, get both of you in a corner, set up gun, knife, win. Just make sure it's facing in a safe direction!

If this game is like every other CoD game, send the invites, switch right before they accept the invite and BLAM-O! Party in non party gametypes. Or just join mid game with friends and then it is easy to get them done. If we can get 12 people willing to do it (two parties of six) we can all join in a Domination game and farm those hard to get pros. As long as nobody captures a point, I believe the game will not stop. I don't believe there is a time limit, just a first to 200 wins.
It's funny, when I use ghost trying to get ghost pro I never find sentry guns. If I run hardline, i see shitloads of them. Maybe I should run hardline and then if i see one get killed and switch to a ghost class
At least once a day I get a Sentry gun and a sentry gun kill... I don't understand how people are finding it hard to get Ghost Pro. I had my sentry gun kill LONG before I got my 30 planes shot down. I am not exaggerating when I say I get at least one sentry gun kill per day.
Get hacker, play Domination, kill sentry guns, get Ghost pro...
If party doesn't work, maybe private chat would.

There was a MW2 FFA glitch that you could get you and 3 friends into the same lobby, and no one else could join it.
Become party leader, join a regular TDM lobby, and wait for your party to show up. When they're all there, back out and quickly join a FFA lobby. If your friends time it right and back out of the TDM lobby, it'll kick them right into your FFA lobby.
CoD4 had one for 1v1, W@W had a similar glitch, and MW2 had one. The lobby system was always glitched in CoD games... You'd think they would fix it.
So, I helped a friend get Ghost Pro in an FFA game and we had a 7 of the 8 people in the game as friends. Then we decided to have everyone make a custom class with an Olympia. It was SO much fun, but after one game we decided we should move to a private match so we don't destroy our kill/win ratios.
It was fantastic. As the host I can create a specific class that everyone has to use, I can make it so that dying removes points, etc. I made one class that was Olympia/Ballistic Knife, Lightweight, SoH, and Marathon and we went to town. On top of that we had more guys join so we had 10-11 people playing FFA that style.
It was absolute win, we'll be doing it again.
I average 6.8 kills per chopper gunner and I get it at least once every 3 or 4 matches so it's still worth it to me. I also have blackbird set up so once im done my CG I can use the blackbird to help me get another one.
Me and a couple of my friends all run with launchers and it's usually a competition to see who can shoot down their air support the fastest, so we're pretty annoying to chopper users.
However not everyone is like that. There are times where you'll be matched up against a bunch of donkeys, like last night when I got the chopper on jungle and went 36-4 with my chopper not even getting a lock-on warning.

Yeah I am still in love with chopper gunner. Once in a while i get up against a team with ghost pro and/or all armed with strelas, but that's not normally the case.
My best match so far was on jungle where i went something like 71-3 and had 2 chopper gunners.

I had three Huey's yesterday, two of which got me a total of 1 kill (both shot down instantly, one I got a kill while going down though). The third one I did alright with, but the others were wasted. I think I'd have done better for myself with an SR-71.
Did the Chopper Gunner / Dogs combo yesterday. Yeah, amazing... Never switching off these.
I usually roll spy plane, napalm, chopper. If Grid, Havanna, or Jungle pops up I change replace napalm with Dogs.

They're easy to avoid. We were playing Launch yesterday with Kabobs crew and when dogs were called we just took defensive positions and mowed them down. I don't think more than 2-4 people even died.
