Meh, it's still pretty easy. I use it alot on Domination for getting rid of multiple flag capturers. Definitely less powerful than it was on MW2.

yah? All I get is hit markers with those things. I used to pwn with danger close on in MW2...er..maybe I just don't use it as much b/c there is no OMA+DC.

The Major Nelson podcast brings the first details of the initial, inevitable Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack. "First Strike" will be released on Xbox Live on February 1, 2011 -- as a timed exclusive, so give it about a month if you want it on another platform. The pack includes four competitive maps: "Discovery," based on the Reznov mission and taking place in an Antarctic research station; "Kowloon" set in, of course, Kowloon, this time on rooftops; "Berlin Wall," a fight at Checkpoint Charlie; and "Stadium," set in an American hockey rink. It also includes a Zombie map, "Ascension."

The DLC will sell for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), the customary Call of Duty map pack price point.

By the way, Second Chance Pro is way too over abused. They need to make it where your killstreak ends if you are down. I ain't gonna lie, I abuse it to. Only because everyone else is.


Also, I'm starting to get used to sniping a bit. The variable zoom lens is great, and hitting the enemy on the correct spot is crucial. My preferred sniper rifle is the ls960 (name check). Only problem now is Array appears to be the only map I can try to snipe at.

They need to get rid of Second Chance entirely...it's ridiculous, especially in Black Ops. It takes more than a second to kill a guy once you down him, he's got a moment of invincibility that just sucks.

I find that it isn't always consistent. They don't seem to always have that invincibility (like there was in MW2). I've definitely shot people on their way down, or as soon as they hit the ground, but other times i feel like i can't get them.

Most people know that sniper rifle by it's name in a previous game, AWP or AWM depending on the version you played.

You can be revived if you have second chance pro..and once revived your kill streak can continue. So, everyone is now rolling with it and it's mad annoying. If they at least made you restart your streak once downed...maybe people would use it less.maybe not though.

Does it use the pistol you haveas your secondary including any attachments? Also what if you have something else as a seconday weapon?

You only get a pistol. If you equipped something else like a crossbow, you default to pistol.

I think it's a particular type of pistol too so say you had a 1911, you won't end up with that when you are doing second chance, but I may be wrong on this. Maybe you can keep your tricked out pistol.

If you use a pistol as your secondary, it's your pistol. It's pretty awesome rolling with the CZ75 Extended Mag, getting downed and having 18 rounds at your disposal to dispatch whatever comes your way.

Not noticed this. I often keep pounding lead into most fuckers until I see points, so it's a non-issue using that method.
