I wonder if today's patch really fixed the lag on PS3, if so I will go buy it again. The lag was too bad, I couldn't play like that

It only took me a few matches with the sentry gun killstreak to get a sentry gun kill. The first time I got the sentry gun I threw it towards the enemies but my teammates still took it. The second time worked perfect though, and now I'm only a few more plane takedowns away from pro.

I prestiged for the first time last night and I'm already up to 30 again with all important pro perks unlocked. Chalk it up to overdue luck but I landed a sentry gun kill as soon as the Ghost perk was available for purchase. Also got extremely lucky landing a head shot while in Second Chance right after picking up that perk.

Oddly enough, I figured the flag capping portion for Marathon Pro would take the longest (took me nearly half a day the first time), but this time I got all 15 within an hour and a half. Probably the most frustrating of all is getting the 10 First Bloods. God, I have a horrible win/loss ratio because of that damn challenge.

Ghost Pro is the number one reason I don't want to prestige... took me a long time to find a sentry last time. I run a lot of mercenary TDM and it seems like most people in that format do not run with AA as their secondary D:

I am trying to get my Ghost Pro perk. I think that's the one where one of the requirements is to place 10 bombs. They give you 3 choices of game types to play, like Search and Destroy. Thing is, I always play Domination and I am not really sure how to play the others. Which one is the easiest for me to pick up so I can get Pro?

That req sounds like Perk3-Ninja, I finished that part playing Demolition.

In demolition there are 2 targets that need to have a bombs planted. Each match is a best 2 out of 3 with sides switching between defending the targets and trying to blow both of them up. After a bomb is planted the defending team can disarm it, but every time you plant a bomb counts.

Perk1-Flak Jacket has a similar req except it's planting or disarming. I used it also while doing the above as the enemy will throw grenades at the target in an attempt to kill you before you can finish planting the bomb.

On these game types I focus more on the objective then kills / deaths. If you do also be perpared to die some. A lot of my plants were followed by deaths, and quite a few times I got killed before I could finish planting it.

I found that smoke grenades can help. I'd toss them either close to the target or aim low so it would hit the target. Then run and dive next to the target with the smoke giving you some cover. Claymores come in handy when you're on defense.

You know... I don't even bother with the pro perks anymore. If I get it, I get it. If not, whatever. I just play through, and prestige. I think I'll wait till level 15 before I worry about having everything.

At first I didn't bother with them, at least until I noticed that I had some that only needed 1 more challenge to complete. I highly doubt I'll ever prestige though.

Thanks for the tip. I tried playing Demolotion before and the format really annoys me. It's such slow going and at the end, even with a 2-0 victory, it seems (visually) so depressing, compared to a 200-70 victory or something.

I find it to be the opposite. I get some of the craziest games in demolition. Those that try for the objectives end up with a pretty low KDR, but its not uncommon to see guys with over 80 kills or 50 deaths. Search and Destroy is the one mode I can't stand to play. What's ironic is I used to be a hardcore CS player.

I will never run AA as secondary, that's just stupid. So long as it is unlocked, I run crossbow. Otherwise... I run nothing. Things just aren't the same as MW2, there isn't a harrier every 2 seconds. And I like to run with SAM sites so...

Not bad. Most of my clips in theater are using the crossbow myself. Just uploaded one yesterday where I shot a bolt through a window and hit the target right in the mouth. I'm so crazy with that thing.

I don't run AA either, crossbow all the way... I'm just saying that it isn't likely you'll see a chopper get destroyed, making ghost pro rather nice.

And about MW2 - I threw it on earlier today for a round or two. I hadn't played it in months. It felt much more polished compared to BO, but your comment on the air support rings true - I forgot how often there is crap in the air raining down death.

I disagree... but I don't want to start that again. MW2 had better maps, but I've had a lot more fun with BO. MW2 was more of the same, BO offered up a lot of new game modes to make it fresh. The wager gametypes are all a blast.

Yea, the next patch is supposed to fix all the freezes, hopefully it does what it's supposed to.

I'm gonna wait it out, if they fix the freezing and the lag I will buy the game again. I only paid $13 for it at BB when I bought my PS3 thanks to a $50 free gift card. I traded it for MW2 gta4 and $30 cash so I didnt lose out any

Not in my experience. Usually the only thing I ever see in the air are jets dropping napalm, and AA doesn't help with that. I run SAM as one of my killstreaks because it can sit and take down spy planes for half the round without me having to worry about it. If someone tries to launch anything in the air, it goes down before it's a threat. Including care packages. You can't defend the air with a rocket launcher nearly as well as I can with a SAM.

I've been playing a lot of Demolition (for the first time) because I wanted to unlock Ghost and Ninja pro. Anyway, it's extremely frustrating. If you happen to be on a winning team then it's great. And if you are on a losing team, it's terrible. I know that sounds obvious but from what I've seen, the margins are more pronounced, more often, in Demolition than say TDM or Domination.

Also, what's worst is I can't help but feeling that most of the time my teammates are playing TDM instead of an objective game. For example, we are defending and A is already blown up. B is armed and I see green dots going the OPPOSITE direction of the bomb. Most games I feel like the only one rushing the bomb and trying to plant or defuse it. I will say that usually some person in first place on my side will have like some crazy kill ratio like 2:1 or 3:1. I guess they are helping in that regard but deaths all over the map don't really seem that helpful to me. I'd like some guy watching my back as I am working on the target. Usually I'm the only one there.

These people didn't click on Demolition by accident. If they wanted to just do a killfest, why not do Free For All or TDM? Am I overreacting?

Is there a Hardcore Demolition game mode? I could have sworn there was one, but under my HC list, there is only TDM, SD, FFA, HQ, and CTF.
