I swear on both Hanoi and Jungle, and sometimes Array, the spy planes never show up. Damn it's irking me.
Still lame.
Your killstreaks are meaningless because there still needs to be someone risking their ass trying to plant the bomb, and that's still too rare. Killstreaks might get a lot of kills but theyre only on the map for mere seconds and then enemies respawned again. I don't care how much you think you're "helping" the team with your killstreaks, because simply put, a team focusing on the objectives vs a team farming killstreaks is going to win every single time. It's just incredibly frustrating to be the guy that actually wants to win when your entire team isn't willing to step out in the line of fire to back you up.
I wish they would make it so random kills just didn't count for anything in the objective modes. No XP, no k/d, not even keeping track. Anything to keep lame people like you away from what would be otherwise fun game modes.
I rarely see the coordinated push forward and secure the area type of behavior in objective matches. I far more often see the hang back so I don't personally get killed type of behavior.
A little while ago in domination I got luckily placed on a team where a solid 3 out of 6 were more concerned with capping points than killstreaks and k/d. We ran circles around the other teams despite having negative k/ds and killstreaks constantly raining on us. Whatever occasional help a killstreak farmer might be in an objective game, someone focused on the objective is ALWAYS helping the team. And it's a team game first and foremost, but you couldn't tell that 90% of the time.
Even though people's selfishness is the easy thing to point the finger at, it really is just a flawed game design. The game simply promotes this bad behavior, and as long as it does, people will still go out of their way to play objectives like they're TDM.
A. You need to find a team to play with.
B. Pushing forward and capping all of the flags in a Dom game isn't always the best approach.
In Domination, it's usually best to cap and defend A and B or B and C. Never a good idea to try to get all 3. Why? Because it's easier to defend 2 spots and control the map, than to try to keep getting all 3 and having the enemy spawn all over the place. I would rather have a teammate sit back and camp C to make sure that they don't spawn behind us than have a teammate continue to rush A and boost the enemy.

Is BO down on XBOX? Can't get into anything right now...
Yet again my reasons for not playing objective games with randoms were reinforced this morning. Played a game of Domination on Summit. It's still early in the game and we're down by 15 or so. We're holding "A", the other team has "B" and "C." We run in and take control of the middle building, two of us up high (myself included), three down low. Sweet, we're gonna capture "B" and catch up!
So I wait...and wait...and look down and there are 3 guys standing within 30 feet of "B" and not trying to capture it, they're camping! So I jump down and capture it by myself...
And of course, then the other team comes back, kills us all, and takes it again.
Stupid teammates...

i find if im in a game with teammates that do that. just do the same. you know its not going to work out so just go kill people.
i figure im not going to waste my time if no one is going to help.. i just float around and kill and if i see im near a capture point ill take it and then just roam some more.
