Looks like they are trying out nerfing the AK74U & RCXD and adjusting Second Chance kills on PS3 first. There's no mention of an impending Xbox update.

Also FWIW, they mentioned the update may take a while to propagate.

I like the second chance deal...The guy that takes the person down should get credit more credit than the guy finishing him off. I just wonder how many people are going to leave downed enemies b/c, they won't get a kill from it. Some people are haters like that.

I like the rcxd nerf as well b/c that thing is a 2 kill ground predator with hl on.

Not sure I totally agree with the nerfing of the ak74u, but it should at least get people to try out other guns like the spectre, mpl, and mac11 which are effective smg's as well. I don't like the mac11, but I'm sure Kabob would disagree with me on that.

I think next prestige I'm going tactical insertion only. I generally stick with one equipment due to the high cost at lower levels.

I only use tactical insertion on CTF or Demolition. I used to use it a lot more but half the time I don't need it and a claymore is a free kill...

You do that all the time though? I run the ak74 with rapid fire and it's fun as hell, but I can't do that all the time and not on every map. Are you able to pwn on Jungle by running around like that. That setup is crazy effective on Havana and Crack though... I must admit.

Every map I use it. Array is probably the only map where I have any real "problems". And those are usually people camping on like the tower with a sniper rifle. Other than that, I merc through people.

For some reason I saw one, but no that's not the most up to date. There was one dated a few days ago that it had been submitted to MS, or maybe it was today. Sorry for the miscommunication

Yeah, probably submitted to MS. Then it takes anywhere from a few days to a week. Will be interesting to see how the AK74u changes. PS3 owners - chime in!

I never use the AK74, but I feel like I was playing better today. Maybe everyone else was playing worse?

Sucks they would nerf the AK74u. I probably will pick up another gun if it is terrible. I might end up keeping it anyway. With rapid fire, it is amazing. I didn't think it warranted a nerf, but I guess enough bads complained Treyarch relented to them.

I don't think they'll nerf it THAT much. Granted, it is overpowered right now, but I'm thinking the Mac11 isn't much worse.

I don't think it is too overpowered. I can kill 3 people with 1 magazine no problem, and I can do that with quite a few other guns. The only thing that separates it from the first submachine gun you get (at least in my eyes) is the reload time is much quicker.

I think they'll increase the recoil, or lower the damage. Though honestly, we'll probably never notice an actual difference.

I think I have more times where I feel as though other guns (usually the Commando or AUG) pack much more power per hit than my AK74. I have, on numerous occasions, recalled shooting at the exact same time and dying faster than my target. Granted I don't recall how many times this has worked in my favor.

Headquarters plays a lot better in BO than it did in MW and MW2. People actually seem to be going for the objective. Domination not so much...

Insane how quickly you can level in HQ on a descent team. Prestiged last night and went to from lvl 1 to 7 in one match.

Yeah, why? 90% of people treat objective games like TDM anyways...

Try Headquarters. Most people playing that seem to know the best way to rack up XP is to actually play the objectives. I've found CTF to be the absolute worst when it comes to people playing TDM in the wrong gametype.

I would definitely agree that it's up there. By far the best COD in my opinion (from a multiplayer perspective - COD4 still holds the belt for singleplayer)

It will definitely be nice to not have to play firing range and summit less frequently. I think I've played one of those 2 maps 80% of the time the past week.

Hopefully they don't suck ass like the COD4 map pack did. I have no experience with the MW2 pack though because my xbox died right after I downloaded it.
